A reworking of a photo I took of a Honey bee on a Lupin flower using my Canon G11 (see below in comments). I coped the original image to my iPhone5 & tweaked it using the Painteresque App. HTT!

Weather app predicted 💯 low cloud cover - so I drove to my favorite woodland and was greeted by constant rain, zero wind and zero mist. Which seems to happen everytime I'm up that way. So I continued on and found paths that I hadn't walked before which for woodland I've walked through many mnay times was awesome. Most paths are either dog runs cyclists, or footpaths. But they sometimes throw up magical tree shapes, if upur really lucky 100 year old beech trees which survived the 1985 hurricane 🌀 which are now showing signs of age and fungal infections. They aren't long for the Tree world. So I've been photographing some of them recently they are so huge its hard to fit them in a frame. You can see the one of them in the previous photo I posted.

Culture Days 2019 Painted Piano Community Project | Coordinated by Arts Milton & Co-created by the community members (2019) – Piano

The Culture Days 2019 community project was a painted piano and matching piano bench designed and facilitated by artist Aparna Rangnekar and co-created by dozens of community members during Culture Days. The upright piano and bench were primed with white paint, and Rangnekar used black acrylic paint to outline blossoms with music note and music clef centres. Community members contributed by painting in the blossoms with a selection of brightly hued acrylic paints in primary and secondary colours. The piano is maintained by the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton, and is located on the second floor of the facility. It is available to be played by community members during open hours.

Sakura Cherry Blossoms (84) by Karen Roberts: Bayfront Park and Gage Park have wonderful displays of cherry blossoms on the Sakura trees. Donated as a goodwill gesture by Japan, they are a feel-good favourite to get over the winter blues and wish for luck in romance, in the spring. Since the blossoms last only for a short time-a week or so-this box design will allow viewers to keep that feel good sensation all year long.

The same design also appears on 62, 63, 72, 86, 89.

I haven't uploaded my 2021 fireworks yet, so here are some manipulations from an old 2015 shot from my Olympus EM-10. These are from a mix of Android apps including Mirror Lab and Chroma Lab. I love the bright colors and neat abstracts I get from using these apps.

Found this image through a flickr friend just yesterday. This highly modified plane was designed to haul sections of large rocket from the west coast to Florida. It’s first flight was in 1965. Power provided by four turboprop engines. Only one of 5 of these aircraft is still flying.
