i just tried to explore...
well i didn't move much from the original postion before move i wanted see what was really around so i eliminated the fog put more light and tried to see how to move the light to reveal details
i also wanted to see how FOV (field of View) interact
i didn't try to use the light artistically i just wished to use to literaly shread some light in the darkest spot

This photo was taken in my balcony at home. I set up a gundam toy figure on a shelf in front of the windows, and pulled down the curtains to create the “velocity feeling” as i zoom blurred it. Then, I stabled my camera on a tripod and took the picture. The vantage point of the photo was right in front of the figure.
As you can see, the central focus is the blue toy figure with a large sword pointing at the viewer. There are many geometric shape in the background and the on the figure itself however they are blurred by the zoom. There are also repetition of rectangle shapes in the background created by the curtains. Along with the rectangles, when i zoom blurred it, lines of light appeared, which emphasized the figure in the middle. In addition, I tried to take this photo from different angles, but I found out that symmetrical balance was the best out of all.
I chose this picture as my “Velocity” photo because I thought that it described the word really well and makes you think that something is approaching with high speed. The word velocity means the speed of something in a given direction and i thought that making the figure facing the viewers was best way to describe the word. I then chose to zoom blur the photo to create the moving/ motion feeling. The curtains also contributed to this as it only allowed small blocks of light though, creating an unique “exploding” effect.
