The view over the nose on approach to Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. The massive 12,000 foot runway stretches out ahead, the Grissom Air Museum is just on the perimeter to the right and the 434th Air Refuelling Wing facility is beyond.
Ulpha near Seathwaite is one of the remotest parts of the region and access is extremely difficult. This shot is taken from HM08 on approach to an incident on Tuesday 29th December.
FGV (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana) retains diesel haulage on the metre-gauge line between Benidorm and Denia. This is now incorporated as Line L9 in the Alicante Tram network. The modern 2500-series diesel multiple units were supplied by Bombardier (I think!).

First image using my new Sigma DP2-M still getting used to the camera and the Photo Pro 5 software raw to tiff then Elements 9 to work on and convert from 50+MB to JPG.

Heading north, a Miami Metrorail 4-car train approaches Earlington Heights, showing the elevated track on which most of the 24-mile system runs.
Fowler (Midland) 0-6-0 43924 approaches Oxenhope Station on the Keighley & Worth Valley line in Yorkshire. This was the first engine to be rescued from Barry Scrapyard in 1968 and is now in regular service on the railway.

After some additional ballasting and rehab work following the initial re-opening in late 2014, by 2016 I observed several of the aggregate trains doing 25 MPH on the old C&NW jointed rail. Not this time, however. Was hoping to catch the units working a little harder with the >120 MTs. At least it allowed for some additional shots.
