A photo tour in Lyon Saint-Jean (Vieux Lyon), France on with my SLR Minolta SRT 101 (year 1971-1973) and a Minolta wide-angle lens MC W.Rokkor-HG 1:2.8 f=35mm of the same period. The camera was loaded with a Fujifilm Neopan Across II black-and-white film.
The 36-exposure film was exposed for 100 ISO and developed using The UltraFin T-Plus developper at dilution 1+4, 20°C, for 6min15s. Expositions were determined either by the camera readings or a Minolta Autometer III lightmeter fitted with a 10° finder privileging the shadow zones. The SRT 101 camera had a SR43 (or type "386") silver-oxide battery in a MR-9 adapter.

After process the film was digitalized using a Sony A7 body and a Minolta Slide Duplicator with a Minolta Auto Bellows III with a lens Minolta Bellow Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5.
Some documentary color pictures was also taken using a Android 5G Vivo Y76 smartphone and its photo application.
So I finally did it.... or stepped in it depending how I end up looking at it some time from now. A little explanation perhaps....
Every year I watch the NYC marathon and even go to 4th avenue here in Brooklyn to watch the runners go by. I love marathon day. Anyway, every year I think to myself for about a month or two that I should run it. However, I am not a huge fan of running. I like biking. Better on the knees and you get to go further and go faster. Ever year however I get the bug. This last year I got to watch someone close to me train and complain and then run it. Afterwards her excitement and desire to run the next years was incredible. This year the bug in my brain will not go away.
Now I have run before and have pretty good form (from what I am told). My desire to it is there I just don't know if I am going to like it. Well the NYRR application is in today and now all I have to do is complete 9 qualifying races this year for guarenteed entry into the 2009 marathon....... I am working on my entrance strategy for 2008 as I write this. Rest assured that there will be pictures updating my progress...... I guess I need running shoes now.

for the green christmas craft fair jury, due to be dropped off today. i was really, really excited when i heard about this show because it is right up my alley (sustainable and recycled goods) and because it is across the street from the farmer's market winter market and will be jointly advertised. i was just back from vaction and unorganized so didn't get my stuff in to the winter market (due in january), now a second chance. not just a second chance, but a second chance that matches me so well. EEeee.

Types of steel used in automotive industry
Hot rolled steel products and cold rolled steel products have been the most important material in the automobile industry for the past decades. While meeting increasingly stringent automotive engineering requirements, gm steel products are also cost-effective in terms of cost, longer service life and variability in strength levels. The steel product is also very suitable for correction rework.
According to the international organization of automobile manufacturers, 95.6 million vehicles were produced in 2018.
Each car uses an average of 900 kilograms of hot and cold rolled steel. The use of steel products in the vehicle is as follows:
• 34% for body structure, panels, doors and trunk covers to prevent high intensity and energy absorption during a collision
• the 23% powertrain consists of cast iron for the engine block and machined carbon steel for the wear resistant gears.
• 12% in suspension ,use high strength rolled steel strip.
• the rest is located in the wheels, tires, fuel tanks, steering and braking systems.

Im trying to write a college application essay. I hate writing essay's. My mind goes blank and I start freaking out cuz I don't know where to start. So instead of freaking out, I turn to meditation.... my camera. The deadline to submit my essay and portfolio is not until Feb. Yes, I may have time... but I also need to sketch out some drawings from my head (which im not too good at), and paint some random stuff along with bringing out the originality in me.... so some of my macro pictures. I haven't sketched since high school so Im hoping I can get back into that again.... somehow. Anyyyyywho! Wish me luck!
