I'd never have got this stuff into the Corsa, and the Applause has otherwise proved to be an extremely useful vehicle, thereby more than earning it's keep, as the saying goes.
I went to my neighbour's house in between showers today and spotted this African Daisy. It looks like it is applauding the short bursts of sunshine. This is not cropped, just resized using photoshop. It was taken with my 28-70 mm lens and the 36 mm Kenko extension tube.
Dear friends, thank you so much for your support - for visiting, for faving, for your encouraging comments, for sharing your inspiring images. Basically, the Flickr community is the only audience for my photography, so to me your feedback is what applause is for an artist. The challenge to surprise you with new and more exciting creations is one major driver for me to learn and improve.
But as much as I love and need Flickr (admittedly :-) - it's time to take a break. There will be little time for me in the upcoming weeks, and I feel I need some new and fresh ideas as well. Time to gain some distance.
Have a great time everybody and see you back in June!

55 days, every evening at 20:00, people went out to their balconies to thank with applause, the medical workers and everyone who had to work these days and risk their health and could be .... life ...
The photo was taken during self-isolation, without leaving home.
All the people in the photo are my neighbors living in the house opposite.
