Apologies for the absence but I am still alive! Life, stuff and a bit of a dry patch... Hope all is good with everyone & look forward to catching up with your streams.
Hey all -
So as you may have noticed, I took a bit of time off from Flickr recently, which I apologize for. A lot has been going in my life recently, and I simply didn't have time for Flickr. I did have time for LEGO, however, and so I've been building and fiddling ever since.
And my second note is that I have a lot of things that, while promised, were never delivered. I also apologize for that. Many builds that I'd have loved to show you guys have been collecting dust because, no matter how many times I try, refuse to be photographed. I've had a D9 build in my room for five months. Five months! That's really unacceptable, and again, I offer my sincerest apologies. I hope to improve my camerawork in order to share these builds with you guys.
And on the topic of camerawork, if I can figure out how to use a camera, I'll be able to stop posting mediocre figs and give you guys some builds for once. I've got a sweet Babiru [Google it if you don't know] build to match this guy, as well as the afore-mentioned D9 build and some Team Fortress 2 stuff, which I'll give a preview on sooner than late.
So, sorry, guys, and enjoy this fig :)
Wish someone a happy Mother's day;
-TLA
Apologies if you are sick of seeing brushtail possum photos... because here are a couple more! This is the daughter, who tends to get seeds stuck on her nose!
Apologies to Donovan. lol This is the outside wall of a shop in St. Martins, New Brunswick, Canada. The floats can be found all over New Brunswick as outdoor decor, and in fishing villages. They can be bought for $10-20, Canadian, used. I have a string of three tied to a tree beside my garage.
Apologies for the deletion and reposting....needed revisions

Apologies for posting and running. Work is still incredibly busy and has been encroaching upon my evenings. However, I have a three day weekend this week and will be catching up on all things Flickrish. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Apologies, do not know the name of this variety. If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated. Taken on a Canon EOS 80D using a macro 100mm lens.
Apologies for the lack of dolly pics, I'm still under shock for the results of Brexit... it will take me a little while for it to sink in.. hopefully will be able to find solace escaping to my beloved dollies again soon. Hugs x
Apologies for posting another Jaguar. But after spending over 40 hours on the river watching Jaguars and other wildlife, we have fallen in love with them.
I owe Fozzie Bear a big apology for misspelling his name since the beginning of this series. Rather than 'hide this under the rug', I decided it best to admit my error, ask forgiveness, and move on. I have corrected the captions from the previous weeks' posts, but still need to correct the tags. That will come in the leisure hours of next week.
Until next time, keep laughing.
I ain't apologizing for shit
I do what I want!
Saw it in your eyes, when you said goodbye
You didn't even try, so this time I don't care
And honestly I was just about to pick up the phone
And then I realized that I didn't do nothing wrong
You would even tell two lies to prove that you were right
Usually I'd go on and take the blame but not this time, not this time
What you want from me?
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
Fuck apologies
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
I'm not perfect, I got pride
That's not what it is this time
So fuck apologies
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
If I, if I, if I really meant it
I can't help that you, feel the way you do
Try not to get confused, 'cause this time I don't care
And honestly I was just about to pick up the phone
And then I realized that I didn't do nothing wrong
Didn't do nothing wrong, ayy
What you want from me?
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
Fuck apologies
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
I'm not perfect, I got pride
That's not what it is this time
So fuck apologies
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
Okay, uh, no apologizing
Ain't no way to take the things you did back or disguise it
Always wonder what I'm doing but that's TMI
Don't know what you got until it's gone, now you realize it
When I wasn't playing smart now I'm being wise
Finally I'm moving on and I don't need your lies
And it wasn't even tough 'cause I can see the signs
Now you're stuck, call an Uber up if you need a ride
What you want from me?
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
(I don't mean it baby)
Fuck apologies
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
(I know)
I'm not perfect, I got pride
That's not what it is this time
So fuck apologies
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
What you want from me?
(I'm not sorry)
Fuck apologies
(Not saying it)
I'm not perfect, I got pride
That's not what it is this time
So fuck apologies
I would say I'm sorry if I really meant it
(I would have said sorry a long time ago)
If I, if I, if I really meant it
Apologies for the repitition of this scene, but I liked this wide angle view. The previous was shot with the 30mm. The Samsung 16-50 OIS kit lens is very good at the wide-angle end, not so good at the long end.
Apologies for going quiet recently, been rather busy for quite a few weeks now but thankfully with photography last week.
Anyway this is a little shot from late last year that I only recently processed, was rather pleased with the outcome!
Enjoy!
I apologies to all those who commented. I unwittingly deleted this picture and lost your comments. I am so sorry. This is looking east down through Spotted Wolf Canyon at the San Rafael Reef of Interstate 70 with the La Sal Mountains towering in the far distance. 4369-4420
Apologies for being such a lousy Flickr friend just now. Computer issues with a dodgy keyboard and deathly slow Broadband in my mobile signal free rural idyll mean that I have very limited access.

I had a go at this 'long hand' tonight and frankly I'm a bit shocked at how easy it was.
This is the same eight frames for both sky and foreground, the sky done in Starry Landscape Stacker and the foreground created as a stack in Affinity Photo 2.
Both files were run through Topaz Denoise as tiffs before being brought back into Affinity Photo as a two image stack, luminosity masked and then a bit more masking and a final export to DxO PhotoLab 6 for finishing touches.
So yes it's with apologies as I'd already posted "That first bit...." on Saturday and this 'is' another take on that same scene but just for the sake of posterity I'm posting all the same.

Apologies for my absence from flickr, I've been crazy busy with my wood art business. I managed to get away after the holiday weekend and grab a shot of these falls I've been after for a while.
A re-showing (apologies to those who've seen this before) - I made a bit of a mess of the processing before.
A reminder that I spend too much time wandering around the hills!
Apologies for my absence recently - I've been busy like you wouldn't believe!
I trust that everyone is fine and having an excellent Monday!

Apologies folks been laid low with a mother and father of a cold which is still hanging around after two and a half weeks and wrecked a break in Hamburg, so not been on Flickr catching up with friends photos - but will be soon. Just need to shake off the man-flu !!
Thanks to Emma for this location which is a new station been built in Hafen City on the Elbe in Hamburg, the lights provide a light show at weekends set to classical music and is quite something. Recorded one performance on my iPhone to get the full atmosphere.

With apologies to you know whom … I simply could not resist showing this little levitation gem enhanced by some cool rim light. Does not look too shabby in large either. What happened is that the resident squirrel received a visit from his south-american cousin, the flying squirrel. Family being what it is, and not to offend the south-american machismo, he pretended to be genuinely impressed by his cousin’s antics. But as soon as his cousin had left, he came over and in a conspiratorial voice whispered to me “Come watch this and bring your camera”. I had nothing better to do at the time, actually, I rarely have anything better to do at any time, and moved the Adirondack chair into position and observed his masterful command of levitation in some pretty cool lighting conditions. Truth be told, we were at this for about an hour and these lighting conditions occurred for only about 5 minutes.
I have a huge problem here. During my research for catchy tunes I came across this Elvis song that has absolutely nothing to do with this image. You may have noticed that does happen from time to time. What to do? I could just ignore this dilemma and post the song but the squirrel sprang to my aid and invoked an old light incantation whose origin is shrouded in mystery to this day. He turned to the sun and whispered "Kiss me Quick" …
Apologies for yet another shot of the loco hauled, London bound Chiltern workings, as they make their way through the Black Country.......

He was NOT the choice of many of us, but his election has had a negative impact on the world in so many ways.We are struggling to correct what is being done .Many of us are NOT like him and his followers.
The original photo was of a stature in Philadelphia. Photoleap was used to create this image.
Yep,I love trees in fog/mist,and for this I make no apologies............... ;)
Thanks for looking,
Chris.
Apologies for repeating the same subject recently but I thought this one was worthwhile. I hope they've all been different enough to have merit in their own right. Possibly one more, I'll see.
Just a reminder (with an apology) that we are still around, and will soon be back into the Spring swing of things after a much needed break from life in general (Dad, that is, not me) to help look after his Mum (thankfully along with several other caring siblings--she's 94!), also, he's heavily involved in the writing game now trying to hack out-
"Hey, watch it, dude."
-a historical fiction novel about his time on a farm in far away Toronto for a summer in 1975 when he was sixteen, where as an example of minor content, he saw the raising of the antenna on the CN Tower March 1 of that year and the final capping on April 2, and never shuts up about it--but maybe this will finally do that.
"Your friends will be happy to see that you are as kind to me as ever, Clancy."
Hey, I plugged your stupid book, now where's my treat?

Apologies for not being able to comment much these past three days I have been very busy at work
I see this is my 500th post it seems a lot not that I am that prolific as it’s taken me three years. Having a quick look back it does seem the stream is pretty varied. I was mostly struck by how lucky I have been to travel to such wonderful places. It has given me a lot of opportunity to take some interesting shots. Many thanks for the support of my contacts some of whom have been looking at my stuff for years now
A fair bit of luck was involved in this shot too I rather like the composition but I can take no credit for it the cheetahs did it for themselves. The only skill I might claim for myself is patience and timing. We had been watching these three brothers for about 30 minutes but this pose were one looked over the others back was just held for a couple of seconds. Just managed one quick click and then it was gone
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT HAVE A GREAT DAY
