His hand finally through the bloody ALUS,
He will be unable to protect himself by sea,
Between two rivers he will fear the military hand,
The black and angry one will make him repent of it.

Parrnassius apollo from French Alps Mountain , summer 2014
Restez à l'affût, une grande nouvelle au sujet des papillons sera annoncée bientôt en fin de semaine prochaine !
I decided to redress my Isul Apollo this past weekend but was kind of appalled by my lack of boy clothes, I eventually found a pair of pants to fit him (Grell's) but I failed to find him a shirt. One of my friends saw him shirtless and decided all he really needed to complete his new look was Melissa's hat. Couldn't resist taking a few pics him haha.
In antiquity Syracuse on the Island of Ortigia, Sicily, Italy, was one of Greece's most important cities, as indicated by the ruins of a large Temple of Apollo beside the contemporary marketplace.

Sorting out the attic, I recently came across my Astronauts' autograph collection from the 1970s, including the first and last men to set foot on the moon (Armstrong and Cernan). Most of the autographs are 'Autopen' - a machine-made copy of the real signature, but a couple of them are personalised, so maybe they are real signatures. Bottom centre is Neil Armstrong's on a piece of card. I have autographs for all the astronauts who flew from Apollo 7 to 15.
Europe, Netherlands, Rotterdam, Museumpark, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, vanderSteur gebouw, Apollo (Olaf Nikolai) (cut from T & B)
Displayed here the iconic oldest part of the Boijmans van Beuningen museum, the ‘Van der Steur gebouw’ (Delftse School, 1935, Adrianus van der Steur).
The Apollo installation (Olaf Nikolai, 2007) in its innercourt, dragged the old building into the new milennium. And it worked remarkably well in a curiously vintage (art deco-ish) way.
Apollo with kithara and phiale, is portrayed in front a woman, probably Artemis, purging libation liquid from an oinochoe. This lekythos belonged to the Michael P. Vlastos' collection, now housed in the Athens N.A.M.

Apollo and Daphne is a life-sized Baroque marble sculpture by Italian artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini, executed between 1622 and 1625. Housed in the Galleria Borghese in Rome, the work depicts the climax of the story of Apollo and Daphne (Phoebus and Daphne) in Ovid's Metamorphoses.
Overwhelmed with passion for the nymph Daphne, Apollo chases her, but she doesn’t reciprocate the god’s feelings and calls on her father, the river Peneus, to save her by transforming her into something that would put her out of Apollo’s advances. Her father obeys and turns her into a laurel tree. Bernini carved the exact moment when Apollo catches up to Daphne and she begins her metamorphosis into a tree. The terrified expression on her face is a counterpoint to the delicacy of her fingers that are transforming into intricate and highly detailed leaves. [Five must see sculptures]

One of Bratislava´s new bridges. I didn´t expect the reflection on stone. The square by Danube is probably made from granite. Was a great night down by the beautiful river.
I really like taking night shots, especially by the water. All the lights, all the reflections, it's just great. The only problem is to get up in the morning the next day :)
HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a gorilla pod. Again, very disappointed with the gorillapod. My should carry 3kg, my camera has around 1.5kg, and it can't hold it at all. Will probably just throw it out, as soon as I buy a new tripod.
