This is another Pic I took around the same time also in the gardens of Apollo, finally got round to editing and posting it. It was quite possibly over a year ago I took it.
APOLLO (Berberis aquifolium) es un cultivar de la uva de Oregón, un arbusto ornamental perenne nativo del oeste de Norteamérica, reconocido por sus flores amarillas vibrantes y bayas de color negro azulado. Es una planta de crecimiento compacto, con un hábito más bajo que la especie principal, ideal para jardines de sombra y bordes de arbustos, y se valora por su follaje brillante similar al del acebo y sus propiedades medicinales gracias a la berberina que contienen sus raíces.
The Apollo temple stands on a peninsula on the shore of Lake Badenburg inside the park of the Nymphenburg Palace. The monopteros with its ten columns was made from sandstone and is one of the landmarks of the park. The tree in the foreground actually collapsed recently and changed this composition of the temple. Apollo probably wouldn’t mind the extra drama.

My dad - a real live "rocket" scientist - was one of designers of the reaction control thrusters for the Apollo mission. I found these commemorative pins and stamps among his things when cleaning out my parents house after my mom passed away in 2020.

This is the subspecies, Parnassius apollo vinningensis. For the Mosel area in Germany.

Apollo / Poll by Nari Ward is part of the 2020 Sculpture Milwaukee exhibition. I find it appropriate as I took this photo of it adorning the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee where at that time the recount of ballots for the 2020 election was taking place.
God of music, healing, plague, prophecies, poetry, and archery. He is Artemis' twin brother. His attributes are a raven and a bow and quiver. Please tell me if there is anything I can do to improve him.

Ruins of the temple dedicated to Apollon, god of light, art and beauty. The temple measures 17x30 m and has columns with Corinthian capitals, 8,90 m high.
