'Habitat ’67 - designed by architect Moshe Safdie for Expo 67 - Montreal.

The spider web facade of Geox, an apartment complex located in Breese St, Brunswick.

Sky above the apartment complex where my wife and I live.

This is the upper level of the complex, on the back side. We have use of one of these little garages (as well as a parking bay in a lot on the street level....and no cars!). However, the balconies and windows on top of the garages pictured here are not part of our apartment. We have to walk farther back, through a little walkway between the garages, to the front section of the complex.

This is one apartment complex in a community of probably 15-20 in Wangjing. Total population for this "community" was about 15,000. Note: air conditioners for each apartment.

Vacation on the sidewalk.

A few weeks ago we were denied to use the backyard at work. It was restricted to those who were residents in the apartmentcomplex. We've never been happier! If it wasn't for the fact that we'd get thrown out of the backyard we'd never experience the fun of sidewalk vacation! It's great. We meet new people, we get much more sun and it's generally happening alot more on the sidewalk than in the small and rather weary backyard.

Talking like 1/4 x 1/4 mile block of land. Purely this.

The lone bright spot in Fairywood's recent history is a former subsidized housing complex called Westgate Village, known for its high crime and low occupancy rate that was converted into a market-rate apartment complex in 2007 and underwent extensive renovations. The result is Emerald Gardens, which, though not terribly photogenic, is a functioning residential area.

Waterside Plaza apartment complex

I have no idea if this is, or is not, a nice place to live, but I like the novelty of living in a newspaper office/warehouse conversion.

@ Wilkinson Street and Newspaper Lane. Fremantle, Western Australia.

Unfortunately it was getting dark when I visited this complex my photographs contain a lot of noise.

The current complex is described as follows: "Clancy Quay is a high quality multifamily community in Dublin, Ireland. Kennedy Wilson expects to add over 400 units to the existing 423 units including the conservation and refurbishment of nine historic army barracks and the construction of four new blocks."

Clancy Quay was originally named Clancy Barracks which featured a fourteen-bay two-storey camp stores and ordnance depot built in 1899-1900 on the site of a riding school.
