Snow Geese leaving Bosque del Apache in the morning. Thousands of these creatures make Bosque their winter home. In the morning, they somehow get the command to fly off all at once and thousands fill the sky with their presence.
The Apache Trail to Canyon Lake, was my chosen annual birthday ride. I wanted an epic ride to mark the special occasion.

We turned Apache out with Hey Bey and they got along famously, mock fighting, chasing each other, and grooming each other.
Trip to S. Arizona, Passing Roosevelt Lake, attended a Women's Apache and healing ceremony. I truly felt the healing ..
One of four artificial reservoirs created along the Salt River. Formed by the Horse Mesa Dam which was completed in 1927. This view is along the Apache Trail. Popular with fishermen because of bass, crappie, sunfish, catfish, walleye and carp.
Apache Solr is an open source search server. It is based on the full text search engine called Apache Lucene. So basically Solr is an HTTP wrapper around an inverted index provided by Lucene.
