This time, thanks to my friend's driving, I had some more freedom to take photos of apache trail than before.
The Apache Trail to Canyon Lake, was my chosen annual birthday ride. I wanted an epic ride to mark the special occasion.
Cadets from the University of Texas at Austin compete in the Zodiak Challenge event during the 5th Brigade Army ROTC Ranger Challenge on November 5, 2023, at Camp Gruber, Okla. We turned Apache out with Hey Bey and they got along famously, mock fighting, chasing each other, and grooming each other.
Possibly the best looking twin-bladed rc helicopters on the market, the Apache-X looks amazing and is incrediby easy to fly. This makes it one of the best models to get into the hobby with as you can quickly and easily be experiencing all the funs and the thrills of flying a proper rc helicopter but without having to put in hours of practice.
Being small in size, the Apache-X makes it useable even in restricted spaces. Perfect for flying around the house when you can't get outside, you'll find it to be very stable and very smooth to control. The blades are also very robust, making it a great choice if your heli should take a knock here and there!
But don't be fooled into confusing the Apache-X with toy helicopters though. This is a proper model with full 3D control. You may have found that there is a similar, two channel version on the market with very limited control but this superior, four channel model allows you to fly your heli up and down; rotate right and left; bank left and right, and move forwards and backwards. You have complete control and manoeuvrability at all times.
The Apache-X RC helicopter comes complete with everything you need. The only thing required to use is 8 normal AA batteries for the controller.

This is an alleged 1878 mass murder site of Apaches by Navajo in 1878. Apaches were hiding in the cave network and were smoked out by the Navajo with lit sage brush at the cave entrance. Apache's were shot when they tried to escape. A total of 42 Apaches died. Billy the kid supposedly hid in old stone houses along the canyon rim in 1879.
There was also once a zoo in the same area. Ruins of animal containment are still visible.
