Fallen for nothing - Tombés pour rien

Jüdisches Museum Berlin

Charles Correa is the architect of the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon. «The buildings are arranged in such a way to create a 125 m long pedestrian pathway leading diagonally across the site, towards the open seas. This pathway is ramped up so that when walking upwards one can only see the sky ahead. At the top of the ramp there are two stone monoliths, straight from the quarry. When one reaches the highest point, one sees a large body of water which apparently connects to the ocean beyond. In the centre of the water body, just below the surface, there is an oval shaped stainless steel object, slightly convex so that it reflects the blue sky and the passing clouds above; it could be anything - the back of a turtle, a tropical island, a treasure chest - all included in the mythic adventure that inspired the discoveries.» (excerpt from www.fchampalimaud.org/images/uploads/November_Newsletter.pdf)

Kylo Ren and the Joker meet at a encounter of the “Sociopaths Anonymous”.

I suppose we all agree they are both sociopaths lol :)

Kylo starts to complain about everything: about a girl from a desert planet who stole his Lightsaber, a general who does not appreciate his tactical genius etc, etc…

Joker is getting so bored he wishes he was in a cell inside Arkham Asylum instead of listening at this guy.

However, the Clown Prince of crime thinks as he conceals his pistol, there is a way to make things funnier.

If they could find a way to kill each other lol the universe will be a better place for sure lol :)

Kylo figure is the Star Wars Black Series one and Joker is from Bandai “Figuarts” line and its articulations are impressive for a figure of this size :) He is the version from Injustice video game/comics.

I wanted to use a static pose here but the figure is capable of very dynamic poses :)

I hope you like this photo :)

I wanted to create some contrast between the illuminated figures and the dark area around them to create a feeling suited for the two evil minds but I’m not I’m not completely satisfied with the results.

Your feedback and opinions are very appreciated and helpful :)

Next up is another shot from my bird project for this year. This was actually a Mistle Thrush albeit silhouetted. I've been after this sort of shot for a while and although I've taken a few, I'd been holding out for the right shape. On this occasion, I managed to get it just right!

Anonymous (Stranger 16, Round 3)

“No, I don't know what's going to happen here either. I just sit and stare in front of me and have a good rest”. I asked her if she knew what was going to happen, is there going to be a performance? She sat on one of the chairs that were waiting for the public on the square near the Museum Park. "Just ask those people there, they'll know." I liked it, the light that shone through her gray hair and was allowed to take a picture. She would rather not have me put her name on the internet with the photo, because "I'm not on social media myself and then I find it strange that someone else would put my name on it". “Without a name is good, just call me 'anonymous'. This is the 16th photo from my 3rd round of the 100strangers project.
