Since my childhood, drawing has always been a passion, but when I discovered photography, I thought that the combination of these two passions would allow me to give free rein to my imagination.
In this series "The sketch of a life", I wanted to illustrate my life, like my sketches gave birth to each of his actions or by the intervention of someone I are close (for exemple in "sketch your mentor" with the intervention of my grandmother who taught me in the drawing), or events that have been important to me (like in "sketch the life" with the birth my daughter "Cataleya"), but also with something a little more humorous (in "Catch & Sketch" for example with the intervention of my friend Cal Redback, or in "sketch and fight" with a battle of two artists with each his technique)

something about this shot felt cinematic so i made it look like 16:9. this was definitely an awkward shot seeing as he was looking at me wandering what the hell i was taking his picture for haha. lucky for me he got off at the next stop right after i snapped it.
160/365
I went down a small ravine and explored a bit by going upstream(the water isn't too deep so I was able to walk in the water). And then, I saw this scene I was awestruck, so I took this photo. I didn't continue on since I didn't want to get too far(I only knew one way going down). The water is clean on this stream compared to others I have seen, It only has that slight smell of leaves, which I think is natural.
A bonus outtake in my Facebook to see the silly stuff I did there. :)
Saw this beautiful man and got weak in the knees. So hot and unfortunately not into me at all.
At least I got some pictures.
Been away awhile; Spent the better part of a week in New York City, former home while in graduate school, former being key... I love to visit - You are anonymous and you can be a fly on the wall and just watch, watch in amazement, at the gloriousness of life that is around you, surrounds you, envelopes you, sucks you in, sucks life out of you... oh wait, I digress. I love New York, a great place to visit and to take a lens to the street. It got the better of me and I now know I'm not a big city walking dude (at least on a permanent basis), but I do love going back.
This atop the Empire State Building - Kinda fun doing the touristy thing every once in a while :)

UPDATED:
picky & fussy once "assigned" me to take a picture of the Empire State Building in my own way - last summer while i was visiting there... she actually caught me on my way out, so i wasn't able to get the shot... but, this time around, i remembered the assignment and got the shot... i actually should have called that out originally in this post, but neglected...
in the meantime, check out her wonderful stream :)
