I must have the stinkiest basement known to man. Nook's store was closed, so I filled my basement with fish. Amounted to 40k bells once he opened and I could sell them all. Also, I just realized that my camera picks up the infrared signals from the sensor bar. Neat. Maybe I should invest in an infrared filter.
Not only did my Secret Santa this year create a unique and personal gift with a fitting Animal Crossing theme (which we all LOVED), they also arranged for Christmas Day delivery!!!

A mosaic tribute to one of my favorite Animal Crossing villagers: Flip the Monkey! He's a gym rat with a kind heart, and it took ALL OF MY ORANGE BRICKS TO MAKE HIM WORK. What I learned about mosaics this time is a) sometimes you have to make a trip to the Pick-a-Brick wall to get the colors you need, and b) slope bricks add both shading and texture to your mosaic, so place them strategically and take a step back to make sure the effect is what you want it to be!

Nintendo is too nice to their press people. A week before Animal Crossing Wild World came out for the DS, they sent me this care package complete with garbage bag and sponge. Aww.
