Updated, labeled map of Bentley! Check out all the little notes to see what everything's called and who's living where!
~~ Some notes:
- Downtown Bentley is called such because it really functions as a center of the town. The Hall and Shops are there and it's where you're most likely to find animals hanging out.
- Tom Nook owns Tanuki Beach, hence the name.
- The groves are my little fruit orchards; I have fruit trees in groves rather than scattered around town. They're named based on their locations.
- Utopian Garden is a field of randomly grown flowers that I don't "use", so they sit there for any visitors to take. :)
- Cephiran Falls is named from the anime Magic Knight Rayearth, Brandywine River after Lord of the Rings, Belle Forest after the anime Eureka seveN.
Based on Cherry House Quilts' Animal Crossing pattern, using Amy's Creatures and Critters and Forest Fun fabrics.
There is enough going on to keep players busy - planting flowers and creating a garden is just one of the activities you can get involved with.
It's also educational in a way - you also start getting to know the names of plants (I play in Spanish, and much of it is new vocabulary for me) while playing.
"Computer games dont effect kids. If Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, munching on magic pills & listening to repetative electronic music" - Kristian Johnson of Nintendo, 1989 (also see Tom's comment about this quote)
The only light used is the dual screen of the Nintendo DS... (note the green power LED)
