More from the dusty, DIY film scanner. I was trying out that whole 'take a shot, rotate camera 180 degrees, take the same shot" thing and apparently suck at aligning the horizon to the corners of the frame. And I think that's my finger on the right. Or it's something ... I don't know.
Unconformities are surfaces of erosion and/or non-deposition of sediments. The erosion surface seen here is an angular unconformity, with horizontal layers above and tilted layers below. The dark rocks at top are part of the Middleton Flow, a quartz-bearing andesitic basalt lava flow erupted during the Pleistocene. The rocks below are redbeds in the Mesozoic-aged Kayenta Formation. The angular unconformity is this case is a bit subtle - the Kayenta beds are slightly tilted (click on the photo once or twice to zoom in).

I Realized after looking at deatil photos I took of the Helicopter at Wondercon, that the guns on the ship looked very similar in design to the rifle and that the top of the gun is angular, but the bottom is rounded. So I added a round to the bottom of the entire Rifle.
