#Egosystem was founded in 2014. #Egosystem works at his own home recording studio named “the bunker”, located in Zaragoza [Spain].
Before creating #Egosystem, Carlos Villar played with Cielito Lindo youtu.be/NAcOA4Z-csY, an experimental post-rock band.
#Egosystem is influenced by the concept of work in progress, surrealism, sound-collage, minimalism and industrial music.
He also began to incorporate visual #projections into his work under the influence of cinema. #Egosystem mounted wall-of-sound performances, featuring several mm and others film projectors.
#Egosystem became involved into Zaragoza’s artistic scene and has written compositions for performances and happenings. vimeo.com/126975838
#Egosystem’s first album, V-effekt, was released in 2015.
This album features eight pieces, performed by #Egosystem, with a focus on dark 'landscapes' and cathartic explosions.
#Egosystem performs using various kinds of acoustic and electronic instruments, looper pedal, sample player, noises, percussions and other sources of sound.
