Listen is a fantastic mobile podcasting client. I've set it up so that it downloads new episodes in the background when it's plugged into power and is connected to a wifi network.
In other words: It will automatically download new episodes during night so that I have fresh new episodes on my morning commute to school. It really shows what you can do with a phone-os that supports multitasking and downloading things in the background.

Yesterday I came cross a picture where International space station transiting the sun was taken and it was fabulous. Further research revealed that we can see ISS with naked eye in night skies as if like shooting star at slow pace. Bummer !! I did not know this. There are quite a number of sites on internet (e.g. ISS Tracker, NASA Spot the station ) and android applications ( ISS Detector ) to give you the information. Searched for Hyderabad sky and realised that I missed 7th Jan (6 min.) and 8th Jan (5 min.) windows. I have to settle for 9th Jan - 3 minute window. I know light pollution is still an issue, but wanted to experiment for the sake of practice. I could take four 30second exposures before it vanished. There might be more sightings as ISS orbits around earth at every 92 minutes. The fun part is finding when it hovers over your land. Google it for more sites and applications.
Childhood it was thrilling and pleasant experience for us to see an aeroplane going at high altitude and there are people inside going at fast pace. The feeling did not go away now but the aeroplane is replaced with ISS and and I saw it from 12 story building and taken a picture of it. The truth is people are there in ISS and circling the earth. For future generations, ISS may look simple task and there might be more wonders.
Lessons learnt
1. Go out the city limits to avoid light pollution
2. Get up little earlier for experimental shots
3. Reduce ISO

5. Do not highly depend on software based compass for accuracy. Have physical compass
6. Fix the battery for remote to trigger the camera instead of 2 sec delayed firing.

Parents are given a username and password to login into the software. The username and password is generated by the software for every student and the login details can be sent to the parents via SMS or mail from the School Admin itself.
Parents can use their respective username and password and login into the parent’s application to view student’s school activities and academic performance.
Not just the performance, a working mother can view their son’s school dairy on the way coming back home and plan for it before hand. A hard working dad can view his daughter’s Cultural event dates scheduled to free from work.
With the easy and beautiful User Interface, it’s quick and easy for the parents to monitor their kids even in their busy schedule.
Google Earth is, at least for now, nothing more than a fancier and more useless Maps-application. It really feels more like a tech-demo to show off the graphics-capabilities of modern Android-phones than something you'd actually use.
With that said, the app is still kind of cool and it's nice to be able to fly around the globe and quickly zoom in on something of interest. It also has a few great layers (like wikipedia) that can help guide you to points of interest.

"Move to SD card" option is greyed out.
Excuse given by DoggCatcher is that
"Google outlines a list of features that are not compatible with installing applications to the SD card. DoggCatcher uses numerous features on this list (services/alarms/widgets/broadcast receivers).
Installing an app to the SD card moves only the application itself to the SD card, not the data and configuration. At the time of this post, that would save very little as DoggCatcher is about 1.5MB."
Still that 1.5 MB is significant on memory limited phones
