The Greenstreets program converts paved, vacant traffic islands, and medians into green spaces filled with trees, shrubs, and groundcover in an effort to capture stormwater.
The program is a part of the NYC Green Infrastructure Plan. All funding for Greenstreet construction under this plan is administered by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).

7 cards to hit 21. Used up 4 aces to get there... he would be known as Ace Hole from the point on for using up so many of the aces.
Over the past 2-years I've been photographing this same wall whenever it's been repainted. This is the 3rd such installment.

On August 16, 2025 I shall turn 63. Pretty amazing. I feel really good
Been having my Bengali barber (I live in a small Bengali enclave) shave my head every 3rd Sunday. Feels great. They don't use shaving cream, instead, they massage an oil into your scalp after which they shave it with a straight razor. Really wicked

TCL 10L android phone, a cheap phone to purchase but not bad for this unlocked phone costing under $300 bucks.
I returned it, as it didn't work with a cell provider I'm using.

In New York City, public urination is a civil offense, not a criminal offense, and is covered by Section 16-118 of the Administrative Code. First-time offenders can receive a fine of up to $75, with subsequent offenses within 12 months resulting in fines of $250–$350 for a second offense and $350–$450 for a third offense. Offenders will receive a civil ticket instead of a criminal summons and will not have a criminal record if found guilty. Administrative courts may also require offenders to perform community service.

This is very significant as they're upgrading sidewalk access by installing Pedestrian Ramps for strollers, wheelchairs, and older and or disabled citizens. This area is presently undergoing a huge building boom, and this is another green light for them to continue

My neighborhood desperately needs additional supermarkets and for the past several years now there's been a huge influx of Asian citizens moving into the area. Whoever's responsible for constructing this Asian-centric supermarket is going to make a fortune

While traveling in areas of Taiwan where nobody speaks English, it was helpful, though rare, to find a menu translation. I wish I had taken a better photo, this was just a phone cam snap.
I walk everywhere. To work, back home, shopping, wherever. And along many of my walks I happen upon pairs of shoes just sitting off by themselves. It's just so weird and random. As if whomever was wearing them was just whisked away. Beamed up to the Spaceship. Barefooted or in their stocking feet. Perhaps the aliens don't believe in shoes. Or they have no need for them...

This is a first visit: Bahnhof Siemensstadt.
It was a last minute visit before we went to Berlin Schönefeld Airport. Had no camera with me, only my smartphone (anyone some recommendations about an Androidphone with an awesome camera?) and ofcourse not that many time to take pictures
The + & - are:
+ The platform is easy to enter
- Nearby an elementary school (but they where on a holiday) and another huge Siemens office/complex.
Be smart: visit this station and/or track during the weekend!

Stupid name for a building. Seems these new buildings may be receiving some kind of write off if they think up the dumbest, quirkiest name.
