A new rendering has been revealed for 29-15 40th Road, an upcoming 12-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Few details have been made public about the project, which is being designed by Fogarty Finger Architects and developed by SB Development, which also acquired the adjacent lot at 29-13 40th Road for $8.7 million last fall.

Sunnyside Train Yard, Queens, NYC is comprised of 180 acres (72.8 hectares), which is 6x the footprint of Hudson Yards, 2x the size of Battery Park City, and 30 acres larger than Roosevelt Island. As with the other yards (Atlantic & Hudson), Sunnyside is also slated to have a platform constructed above it, so as to further erect buildings and roads atop that. For several years now major realtors have been building properties around the perimeter of the Sunnyside Yard. They're all like vultures, waiting on the kill.

Komatsu Ltd. They're constructing yet another public storage building on Northern Blvd. As for the other two, I have never seen anyone, ever, go inside either one. And I walk past this area twice per day.

I see this quite often along my walks to/from my office, though mostly with cinched filled baggies. The fine for public urination must be more than littering, though with the baggies and this bottle, it should be a double penalty

In New York City, public urination is a civil offense, not a criminal offense, and is covered by Section 16-118 of the Administrative Code. First-time offenders can receive a fine of up to $75, with subsequent offenses within 12 months resulting in fines of $250–$350 for a second offense and $350–$450 for a third offense. Offenders will receive a civil ticket instead of a criminal summons and will not have a criminal record if found guilty. Administrative courts may also require offenders to perform community service.
