My first Amazon was bought even before I’d passed my driving test…in fact it was the second car I’d owned. I mentioned to a friend that I was looking for something to learn to drive and he in turn had a friend that was getting married and needed to sell his old car…a 1964 Volvo Amazon 4 door. I knew absolutely nothing about Volvo’s or indeed old cars.
The deal was done and the car was mine, I just had to persuade friends to sit in the car with my while I drove around London to practice my driving.
