Always a delight to spot colourful waxcaps and even better to capture underside shots. Where possible, I prefer not to pick them and use my Pentax point and shoot, pressed down into the substrate, but sometimes this is not possible.

This, of course, is from the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, located in Mount Vernon, Washington. This, in particular, is from the Roozengaarde Tulip Display. Although I'm sure they change it up every year, this scene always amazes me! I am just in awe! The tulips in particular--but when you add the blue-gray Cascade Mountains in the background--it is just awesome! Hope you all enjoy!
