"The Hanging Light" as I'd like to call it is a gift from someone very special in my life. The shade is originally tilting and that makes it unique, I guess.
Love... it can seem so delicate, so soft... like the wings of a butterfly. And yet those same wings are strong enough to allow the butterfly to flutter on the breeze, to fly... This perfect ceramic butterfly pendant from Marsha Neal Studio is a color that is almost a slate with honey colored swirls it is approximately 1.5" across and 0.75" from top of the wing to bottom. Rich Fallen Angel Brass chain and wire wrap around the pendant and grey blue czech crystals up to soft hand dyed sari silk ribbon in shades of slate and periwinkle.
Truth #4 - I LOVE MY NAME ! I was talking to one of my patient's today and we got into talking about names and how most people can't stand their name when they're growing up. For me, it's quite the contrary. For as long as I can remember I have loved my name. Everyone always tells me "What a lovely name Kristen is", who wouldn't love a name like Kristen Leigh. I love it not only "just because" but because my mother named me Kristen and I have found out most recently that I have 2 brothers that I didn't know about on my father's side, whom has just come back into my life after 23 years ... and my mom told me that she named me "Kristen" because my brother's names are Chris and Tim and when you say them together it sounds like "Kristen" It means something to my mom and it means something to me because it means something to her.
This bracelet itself means a lot to me because I had it hand carved in St. Augustine on my trip away with the love of my life. We both really liked the bracelet and it was something most unique that neither of us had ever seen. I wear it everyday and I would feel naked without it. It's a part of me, "Kristen Leigh" ... it's part of us.
I'm one of those unique people. I'm always in control, always running the show. Although I'm generous, immensely loving and gentle by nature, no sooner do I give the order than people naturally snap to attention and follow my orders.
This comes in useful, whether I'm organising a tour or simply out shopping.
It's strange because I wouldn't say I have one of those 'she must be obeyed' voices - far from it! But since age zero I've been the number one leader and top dog whatever the milieu. Must be something in the genes.. PING!

Degraded working was in place due to loss of detection on the crossovers south of the station.
Kids never spare a moment, they always gotta have their hands busy .busy may b hurling food @ others, may b ryunning along the balcony seeing a cat or may b pulling out the most useless thing and playing with it.... like this guy jus pulled out a bottle cap and started playing wth it.
Always great to have time with the grand kids.
