Mathew Gilbride’s modular, wall-mounted appliance provides flexible modes of cooking, refrigeration, air conditioning, lighting, and environmental design whilst reducing space. The appliance draws power wirelessly through ‘powermat’ technology applied to the wall, which is supplemented through solar energy as required. Multiple units and surfaces automatically work together through wireless smart networking, whilst customisation is offered by being able to install the units as the user prefers.

And this monstrosity goes UNDER your clothing. Honey, have the extra piece of cake, and just relax. A little belly is cute.
I do like the graphics.
Basically the same set, same lasers, same clothes and instruments as the Shepparton Studio scenes in "The Kids Are Alright" - the Who documentary, not Annette Benning & so forth.
Hand copy and stamp in small groups 1-25 pixels at a time up to big swaths around the edges, to remove dust, scratches, etc. For a 2400 pixels/inch scan (HP Photosmart C4280 All-In-One scanner) of a 37 year old proof sheet, its pretty good. But not to be mistaken for a scan of the negative. I like Aviary's rotate tool but the file chokes the replace path... Its about 2400 X 2000. I changed to a less 'good' jpg, got the file size down to 2M, and succeeded.
Self evidently, this is Kodak Tri-X that I developed and proofed myself. I've got an enlargement, ought to find it and scan it.

Q: What Is A Syndicate Quiz?
A: A general knowledge quiz for teams of up to 6 people. You write the answer on a piece of paper and take it to the 'command table' run by the entertainment team. The winning team each evening gets a bottle of P&O wine (which is denigrated by the staff). Winners get deducted a point next time they play. It can get very competitive- histrionics and sulking ;p
Trivia games or quizzes are a cruise ship staple that Niccy and I both enjoy. We can hold our own for the most part, occasionally winning and always having a good time. They're usually a pretty civil affair but we did get a shock on P&O.
Seems that the P&O crowd takes these things quite seriously. Kind of like taking the SATs here in the US, the GCSE for my UK brethren. Don't talk, don't laugh, don't step out of line or you'll be called on it. C'mon people, it's just a game!
The "prize" for winning the quiz is a bottle of P&O branded plonk, probably the leftovers from Ernest and Julio Gallo after they've filled all the boxes at the factory. Not something you'd bring to a dinner and certainly not something you'd brag about.
Needless to say Niccy and I failed miserably for the most part since the questions were very UK centric which we should have expected. Oh well, we're gearing up for our next trip on Holland America where we plan to dominate!
BTW, we were on our own every night, no one wanted to team up with us. We both used deodorant and toothpaste so we don't understand why? ;-)

Well, either way you get "stoned". Had to come, but I don't know if you need the "Medical" card for the coffee too. You can get the permit for the cannabis by Skype with a doctor! Strange process -I am not a pot user - never was and I am not starting now, sticking to coffee.

A kara , is a steel or iron bracelet, worn by both male and female initiated Sikhs. It is one of the five kakars or 5Ks — external articles of faith — that identify a Sikh as dedicated to their religious order. The kara is also worn by many ethnic Punjabis who may be Hindu, Muslim, or Christian. Moreover, the use of the kara by non-Sikhs is encouraged as it represents the "totality of God". The kara was instituted by the tenth Sikh guru Gobind Singh at the Baisakhi Amrit Sanskar in 1699.
The Kara is a symbol of unbreakable attachment to God. It is in the shape of a circle which has no beginning and no end, like the eternal nature of God. It is also a symbol of the Sikh brotherhood.
The Kara is usually worn on one's dominant hand.(Wikipedia)
Today I posted my 503rd video to Youtube. This journey for me started in 1982 when JVC brought out the world's first portable video camera. The world's first camcorder was not invented for another two years, the — JVC GR-C1 VHS-C camcorder. The word 'camcorder' comes from combining the two words: camera and recorder. My 1982 video recorder was not a camcorder but a video camera connected by cable to a portable VCR tapedeck. The former was held in one's hand while the latter hung over one's shoulder.
I bought another (I can't find my Dazzle) VHS-to-digital converter that arrived this morning. By noon I had the transfer completed.
See what you think from this 1982 technology converted to digital:

Like moths to a flame, the sun starved flocked to the pool deck!
The other guests onboard the Britannia had paid for sunshine and they were going to get every penny's worth of it while they could. Little did they know that there were storm clouds a couple of miles up the road (look at the upper right hand side) that was going to have them all running for cover!
This was a pretty typical scene, all the loungers filled with people in various states of dress and undress, all challenging the sun to try and make them look tan and beautiful. In most cases the color showed up but it usually started out as bright red, slowly fading to that crispy brown that you usually only see in fried chicken and supermodels. The beauty, as the old saying goes was in the eye of the beholder.
Having lived in the Northwest of the US for so long I can certainly understand these folks with their longing to shed their pasty whiteness and wanting to show up back home with a Coppertone tan that their friends could only achieve in a spray booth. The sun (and it's warmth) is an addictive drug when you live in a place that doesn't see a lot of either and once you've tasted it you'll certainly be back for more.

For those in the Show Your EXIF group you should note that the actual lens used is a Tamron AF 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di-II VC All-in-One Zoom for Canon APS-C Digital SLR. For some crazy reason it always shows up as a Canon TS-E 90mm f/2.8, a lens I've never owned or used!

A never ending cascade of receipts!
One of the things that Niccy and I found out was that there were certain amenities offered to the folks from the UK that weren't offered to us, one of which was an included drink package. With the drink package you're able to get pretty much any beverage you'd like from the bar and not worry about the cost since it's part of your cruise. Once onboard Niccy and I were offered a drink package for the low, low price of £79 per day per person which we decided very quickly to pass on.
What this meant was that on sea days such as this there was a constant line of thirsty folks at the bar which meant a lot of drink orders. With every order a receipt is printed but never given since it's going to show a zero cost to the patron so I sat and watched as this river of receipts flowed downward, right into the the general waste bin. I would venture to guess that I watched at least a tree's worth of paper fall. I sure hope that P&O believes in recycling!
