Although this is only a quick shot taken in the back yard ... it needed to be done. Nice alignment of The moon (highest), Jupiter (in the middle of the two) bright ones in line, and Venus ("closest" to the shed"). Also making guest appearances were the Pleiades (slightly up and to the right of the moon) and Orion (far left of the image).

Okay, okay ... these are not images from February 28. These are planetary images I have taken in the past year. I created this composite/simulation for friends and family who asked about last week's highly publicized planetary alignment. Mercury is on my to-do (i.e., to image) list and is not included in this composite.
