Cette rue commerçante se trouve au cœur de la vieille ville de Lindau, Land de Bade-Wurtemberg en Allemagne.
Une vue vers l’ouest à partir de l’ancienne boutique souvenirs Ambiante située au In der Grub 20, presqu’en face du restaurant grec Akropolis, toujours présent au In der Grub 11-13.
La vieille ville de Lindau s'étend sur une île du lac Constance formée par la réunion de 3 îlots où des pêcheurs avaient fondé un village à l'époque romaine. Elle devient ville libre d'empire entre 1275 et 1802. Lindau ajoute au cachet de ses rues anciennes l'agrément de son site insulaire. Cette cité compte de nombreuses églises à clochers à bulbe et aligne dans le quartier ancien ses maisons bourgeoises à pignon qui témoignent encore de la prospérité assurée jadis par son rôle commercial avec l'Italie. Pour apprécier le charme un peu rétro de cette cité souabe, il suffit de flâner le soir entre le port et la Maximilianstrasse.

Two islands of original Canadian National, perhaps even Canadian Northern, wooden poles align the CN Sprague Subdivision in Minnesota. I can't speak for the Manitoba portion or even the Ontario portion on the Fort Frances Subdivision. Here at Williams is one of the pole islands that still surrounds the last set of searchlight signals on the west end of Williams siding. I try to incorporate them into a scene whenever I am up along the Sprague. Never take anything for granted - they might be gone the next time I show up!
Earlier in the day, GT Heritage unit 8952 was the DPU on 421 (McMillan to Port Robinson manifest freight). I had planned to spend the day in Niagara anyways, so this was a welcome addition of drama. I heard on route that 8952 was having issues and not loading, so it seemed like anyone's guess what power would be doing what. Fortunately, I guess these issues self-resolved and 8952 was put on the front of Port Robinson to Tiff St. manifest, 531, shown hear under the signals at Yager.

The best 20% of 3500 frames were aligned and stacked using Autostakkert! 2 with wavelets processed using Registax 6.
