Again, I see faces . . . anyone else see a group of smile-less aliens here??

Also known as "spitters," these aliens weaponize their acidic blood!

Alien Rock band! The Invaders episode "The Ivy Curtain" . The alien invaders set up an academy where they learn about human emotions, and how to mix in and be cool, like forming rock bands. As a drummer myself, I just think it's cool that on their planet drummers play standing up, and don't use ride or crash cymbals!

A quick look in my alien apc.

What do YOU do when those pesky alpha-centurians come for your clean air and water? Well if you're like me, you do the only thing possible - POLLUTE SOMETHING!! That's right, let's see those Martians commit genocide on the peoples of planet Earth just to conquer a huge pile of burning tires and used diapers! TRASH - it's your only hope...

Alien spacecraft have made their presence known in hyderabad

We knew that the Aliens would invade Vermont. Like the Martians in the War of the Worlds they finally succumbed to some disease caught from Tom Cruise...

For my first attempt at microspace, I decided to give Dan Rubin's Tan Fantasy theme a whirl. A few of these I'm quite happy with, but I think some of the others fail to capture the "alienness" of the theme.

Occasionally "alien" equipment would ride the Erie-Lackawanna rails, and this Rock Island hack is an example of that. Shot directly trackside, this is typical of the many "too close-up" shots I have of passing trains.

I note that inside the window, you'll see the conductor is holding lighted lantern. This means that this was either Harry or Bill passing by, and they used to wave to me using the lantern, and I'd do the same waving back. This time however it looks like I blasted them in the face with a flash!

Sometime in 1967 or 68.

The alien is looking for his base with a map of the local public transportation system, which strangely resembles crop circles.

We won the first prize in a local youth photo contest with this series. :-)

Lighting: strobe (Nikon SB-24 on manual) on a 3m cable from the left, held by a friend.

Model: Wolf

Makeup: Alexandra Kühnel (it was her first time making a bald head cap).

The only editing I did was removing the eyes, smoothening the transition between cap and skin a tiny bit and changing the eye color.

Showing some love for the new Aliens line from NECA.

The inside of my oven was a great place to snap some pictures.

Part of a hive wall that will be part of a huge Alien diorama I am building for my AVP collection. All those structures were sculpted with Apoxy Sculpt.

The frame is an Alien (with a Time carbon fork 1”) which was added a set of cable stops, a set of water bottle braze-ons, a small tube at seatstay bridge for a brake and the rear triangle was chromed.

I decided to substitute the original fork due its short steerer tube that only allows a Tange Passage headset or an old Shimano 105 with 33mm stack height.

The crankset is an old Campy Pista (drive side) 165mm and 144BCD, and the left side was a Campy Strada (drive side) that I converted to non-drive side and a machine shop rethreaded it in order to accept a left pedal (it thread s counterclockwise).

The other parts are as follow:

- Headset: Campy Record;

- Stem: Litespeed (titanium);

- Handlebar: Azonic Double Wall Riser (50 cm);

- Grips: Oury;

- Brake Levers: Suntour XC Pro (champagne);

- Seatpost: Record Aero;

- Saddle: Brooks Professional;

- Bottom Bracket: Sampson Titanium 107mm;

- Chainring: Sugino Mighty Competition 44T ;

- Chain: KMC Z610 HX - 3/32";

- Pedals: Chorus Aero with Brooks straps;

- Rims: Mavic CXP22 ;

- Front Hub: C-Record Pista;

- Rear Hub: IRO flip-flop (low flange);

- Track Cog: IRO 17T ;

- Lockring: Wheel Mfg;

- Freewheel: Eno 17T by White Industries;

- /Brakes: Campy Chorus;

- Tires: Slime 700x25.

It is as very nice ride.

Thought I'd finish this brief alien conquest story with an alternative view to yesterday's picture.
