What's really alien is the type of light! We have a new record here--most March days in a row with rain. I just can't explain how happy breaking this record makes me...
Washing the dishes again, I rested a clear tupperware lid against a strainer, and this freaky alien beam of light shown down on it and you can see here I inadequately captured it on camera. Though, historically, aliens are hard to capture on camera.

Still sorting photos from last week!
From Palm Beach northward along the east coast of Florida there are areas of exposed rocks. These are sediment material of crushed shells which was once thousands of feet below the sea bed where time and pressure packed them into the stone like substance called Coquina.
Having risen to the surface due to the shifting of the tectonic plates and heaving, this stone is now being eroded and creating this wonderful sculptured forms.
The Castillo de San Marcos in Saint Augustine is built solely of this material.

This alien poses as a damselfly of the Zygoptera suborder. People often fail to notice that they hold their wings differently when at rest and are also smaller than dragonflies. Oh, and did you notice, their eyes are separated. Though running might be better than waiting to see the blue in their eyes…

I love model kits... still have a ton of them collecting dust on a shelf in the basement. Realized I'd probably never get around to putting this one together. As much as I love Alien and Aliens - the DVDs take up a lot less space and I can still watch them whenever I want...
This alien head was found inside a ducks guts. The original X-Ray sold for $9,000 on Ebay. The old Alien-head-inside-a-duck trick strikes again!
Small version of the Alien APC.
Yes. It looks a bit weird. It has a bad height/width aspect ratio because of the operator seat inside. And there is no steering.
But:
- Both doors can be opened.
- The turrets can turn.
- The large turret can be stowed away to the back.
- The operator seat can move and turn.
- 4-6 Weapons can be placed under the roof.
- and ... it is small enough to fit into my Alien dropship.
Love this, I see him every year. If you look closely it's almost as if he's gonna bite off that woman's head!
That unusual flower again this time found in Friday Mosque.

Unusual vegetation we have in Maldives. I wonder whether this is native or imported.
