Via di San Michele. A filming location from I, Vitelloni by Federico Fellini, taken on my D7000 & converted into B&W.
Its a brief scene where a hungover Alberto, after the canival, is helped by Moraldo to his home where he finds out his sister Olga is leaving for good.
I tried to find this spot on my first solo trip to Rome in 2018, but the rain ruined my plans.

Poeta y traductor argentino nacido en Buenos Aires en 1919.
Pertenece a la generación de los años cuarenta, aunque su estilo único y personal, no encaja en algún movimiento especial, razón por la cual, recibió grandes elogios y provocó rechazo de algunos sectores debido a su lenguaje a veces incomprensible y extremadamente intelectual.
Es autor de más de treinta volúmenes de prosa y poesía entre los que se destacan: Coronación de la espera en 1947, Poemas elegidos en 1965, Los valores diarios en 1970, Poesía de la observación en 1973, El motivo es el poema en 1976, Páginas de Alberto Girri en 1983 y Juegos alégoricos en 1993.
Tradujo a numerosos poetas ingleses y estadounidenses, tales como T. S. Eliot, Wallace Stevens, Robert Frost , John Donne y William Carlos Williams.

It should be added to this, in the case of wild animals, wildlife photographer depends on the “capriciousness” of the subject to try to get that “unique” image. Achieving a good image depends on (too much) whether the subject decides, appear, come, run, walk, stop, fly, run, jump, swim, play, watch, sleep, go up, go down, move, hunt, enter , come up, eat, drink, copulate, urinate, ………… etc., etc.,. A nature photographer must pull the shutter button at the right time, trying to freeze that moment of reality. In wildlife photography if you do not take advantage of the occasion, if you do not pull the shutter button at the right time, you will never have another chance.
Therefore, photographing wildlife becomes, in most cases, something quite complicated and totally random and unpredictable, and wildlife photographer becomes really a “sufferer”.
A ello habría que sumar que en el caso de fauna salvaje, el fotógrafo de naturaleza depende, para intentar conseguir esa imagen “singular”, de la “actitud caprichosa” del sujeto. La consecución de una buena imagen depende .......................

Well, I totally agree with that girl of intelligent eyes. Behind a "wildlife picture", apart from many factors on which most of us agree, I think there's something else, there is a story..... And as that girl thought, not regarding the story of the protagonist of the image, which I also think is really important, of course (I think it's just what most photographers try to tell with their pictures , other thing is to get it). In this occasion I refer to the story behind the photographer, the story that crosses space and time with the story of the protagonist of the image and which can arise a good "wildlife picture".
Yes, because there is also a story behind the photographer……………

................ “Sí, claro, también está la historia del protagonista de la fotografía, pero….hay……una historia más”.
Pues, estoy totalmente de acuerdo con aquella chica de ojos inteligentes, detrás de una ‘foto de naturaleza’, aparte de muchos factores en los que casi todos estaremos de acuerdo, creo que hay algo más, hay una historia… Y como pensaba aquella chica, no me refiero ya la historia del protagonista de la imagen, que también, por supuesto, y que creo que es lo realmente importante (pienso que es justo eso lo que intentamos contar con nuestras fotos casi todos los fotógrafos; otra cosa es que lo consigamos). En esta ocasión me quiero referir a la historia que hay detrás del fotógrafo, a la historia que se cruza en el espacio y el tiempo con la historia del protagonista de la imagen y de la cual puede llegar a surgir una buena ‘foto de naturaleza’.
Sí, porque también existe una historia detrás del fotógrafo……….
