A little moc-up of the speeder than anakin hijacks in attack of the clones, with a bunch of alterations etc.

Produced by Narglatch AirTech, the XB-7 was very popular among the wealthier citizens of Coruscant, who wanted a high performance, customizable airspeeder. Giving plenty of opportunities for modification, the speeder was perfect for young, reckless, rich kids or boastful, recently elected senators with a certain need for speed. Despite its bulky appearance, the speeder was capable of high speed and acceleration, due to its oversized engines and state of the art power converters. It was especially acclaimed for the homage to older models, woven into its design in form of the chrome power converters on the side and signature headlights. Selling out as quickly as umbrellas on Kamino, this model paved the way for Narglatch AirTech’s growth and later became known as the predecessor of the models XJ-6 and XJ-2, used by Anakin Skywalker and Bail Organa.

Since it will soon make it last appearance in Uncertain Ways, I figured this would be the perfect time to give you all a proper, closer look at this speeder in undamaged form. While it remains one of my favorite creations of mine, this model was in fact created in 2015 already. Until this day, I can’t really figure out how I managed to build it and I doubt that I could recreate it from scratch. I hope you like it as much as I do. As for Uncertain Ways, a new part is in the works and there is also something very special related to it I’d like to share with you soon. So, stay tuned!

The XJ-4 Airspeeder was manufactured by the Narglatch Airtech much like the previous model, the XJ-2 and the later model XJ-6.

The XJ-4 is a two-seat vehicle made for the richer population in coruscant and other urban core worlds. There were different versions made of this Airspeeder such is the case of the XJ-4 vintage edition and the XJ-4 sport edition and later the XJ-4F vintage edition which was made with for seats.

This version, the vintage edition, has 288 pieces and measures:

Length: 20 studs

Width: 8 studs

Height: 9 studs

I will post the other versions in the next couple of days.

I’m thinking of inventing the rest of the XJ line of Airspeeders 🤔

What do you think?

Hope you like it!

With the XB-5 airspeeder, Narglatch AirTech produced a bulkier, more heavy model, not as fit for racing, than their other products. Meant for folks wanting a bit more comfort when flying across a city planet’s skyline, the speeder featured only the most exquisite furnishing. Seats made from Batha-leather, controls designed by the fines artists of Naboo and state of the art holographic displays made the speeder worth a small fortune. Especially high class politicians enjoyed such luxury and frequently bought the model. Going by Narglatch AirTech’s tradition, each model could be modified, still leaving some opportunity for packing a powerful engine into such an fine vehicle.

Overall the XB-5 enabled Narglatch AirTech to expand beyond the racing scene and reach a clientele older and even more wealthy.

Yet another speeder and also, finally a sign of life from me. I recently finished my bachelor thesis and am now waiting for my marks. I am still busy with applying for jobs and my social life has also taken some very interesting turns lately. I guess I'll will remain busy, but I'll try to make as much time for building as I can.

The XJ-4 Airspeeder was manufactured by the Narglatch Airtech much like the previous model, the XJ-2 and the later model XJ-6.

The XJ-4 Sport edition, is a two-seat vehicle made for the richer population in core worlds who like to feel the trill of races and live on the edge! This absolute beauty can reach speeds up to a 880 km/h!

Notice that this version as the gear stick vertical, in opposition to the vintage version. The frontal and back fans were taken out, as well as the stair. The back of the airspeeder was also altered to have more of a sporty look. Lastly, the windscreen was also altered to go with the rest of the design.

This version, the Sport edition, has 265 pieces and measures:

Length: 20 studs

Width: 8 studs

Height: 7 studs

Hope you like it!

Here is the final version of the XJ-4 editions. In this version the length of the airspeeder is slightly bigger to accommodate for the seats in the back.

The XJ-4F Airspeeder was manufactured by the Narglatch Airtech much like the previous model, the XJ-4 vintage edition.

The XJ-4F is a four-seat vehicle made for the richer population in coruscant and other urban core worlds.

The four seats vintage edition has 308 pieces and measures:

Length: 23 studs

Width: 8 studs

Height: 9 studs
