My December 15, 2008 flight in an American Airlines Boeing 767-300ER from New York JFK to San Francisco turned out to be beautiful, with clear skies across most of the country. I took plenty of pictures as we progressed towards SFO -- which was heavily hemmed in by shower clouds.

New Castle was founded in 1651 by Peter Stuyvesant, who was sent to provide the Dutch with command of all river traffic. Because of its strategic location on the Delaware River ... with the flags of the Netherlands, Sweden and Great Britain and all having flown there. New Castle became the colonial capital of Delaware and also briefly served as the firs state capital.

Originally it was the main airport for domestic flights in Buenos Aires and only handled international flights to Uruguay. However, since March 2010, there are also flights to Brazil, Chile and Paraguay.
