Taken from the cockpit on a flight from Melbourne to Honolulu. This is about 8 hours into the flight with about 90 mins to go. Sunrise occurs very quickly as we are racing towards it at 920 Km/hr (500 Kts). This only lasted about 2 mins but managed to get the shot.
I took this pic during my flight between Chicago and Las Vegas. If anybody knows this canyon's name, let me know.
Brooklyn, New York City right before a storm of violent wind and rain. I couldn't help but be in awe of that thin layer of white just above the horizon suggesting the opposite, that everything was going to be just fine...
