Das Schloss Ahrensburg befindet sich in der nach dem Schlossbezirk benannten Stadt Ahrensburg im südlichen Schleswig-Holstein, etwa 30 Kilometer nordöstlich des Hamburger Stadtzentrums. Das kleine Wasserschloss ist eigentlich ein Herrenhaus und war als solches einst Mittelpunkt eines adligen Gutes. Als Schloss wird das Gebäude jedoch schon seit dem 18. Jahrhundert bezeichnet.

Taken from the cockpit on a flight from Melbourne to Honolulu. This is about 8 hours into the flight with about 90 mins to go. Sunrise occurs very quickly as we are racing towards it at 920 Km/hr (500 Kts). This only lasted about 2 mins but managed to get the shot.

Here's the shot of spectacular Dubrovnik in Croatia, one of the most famous tourist destinations in the Adriatic Sea and the entire coastal area of the Mediterranean Sea.
Dubrovnik is an incredibly popular UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most photographed and filmed cities anywhere, featured in numerous movies and TV series, among them, extensively in the Game of Thrones (King's Landing). Dubrovnik was also used to film a few scenes in the upcoming Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi, due for release in December 2017.
I took this panorama from the serpentine road leading to the city in July last year. It was unusually cold and windy that night. I was shooting at 105mm focal length, so vibrations caused by the wind became a real problem. To stabilize the tripod, I used the weight of my camera backpack and fixed it to the ballast hook of my FEISOL travel tripod. This worked great and the tripod was rock steady.
As usually, I was shooting a super high resolution panorama, stacked from 6 vertically oriented shots, each combined from 6 bracketed exposures. A total of 36 photos were needed for this blue hour panorama. Total resolution of this image exceeds 15,000 pixels horizontally.
I used Canon 5DsR and Canon 24-105mm f/4L lens with Feisol travel tripod, Really Right Stuff BH-40 and their excellent TA-U-LB leveling base.
Image was processed with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom with Google Nik Collection set of plugins.
