I took this shot of the unfinished Kessock Bridge on board an American P3C Orion aircraft in 1981 The Caley Stadium is yet to be built and the old A9 still goes through Beauly and Muir of Ord.

Perhaps 3-4 miles below scattered across the moorland that separates the dark patches of pine forest there are dozens of white pylons with long blades capable of moving the wind turbines and producing electrical current. A generation from now maybe the numbers of towers and the efficiency at capturing the moving air will increase so that wind generated electrical power will become a large part of the national production scheme.

Since its construction, there have been four Super Bowls (XXIII, XXIX, XXXIII, XLI) and two World Series ('97 and '03) played in the stadium. The stadium will serve as host again for Super Bowl XLIV in 2010.
