Aerial Views of the Broome Area, May 3, 2016
Aerial view taken on a flight between Seattle, WA and Phoenix, AZ.
Our grandson, Kyle, is a student at ASU and absolutely loves it!
The larger circular irrigation areas are each about 1km in diameter, which is why they can also be seen from space.
My December 15, 2008 flight in an American Airlines Boeing 767-300ER from New York JFK to San Francisco turned out to be beautiful, with clear skies across most of the country. I took plenty of pictures as we progressed towards SFO -- which was heavily hemmed in by shower clouds. Our aircraft was held for about half an hour in San Francisco terminal airspace and then we were vectored out to the northeast and back in over Oakland for our final approach. This provided me with nice views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Oakland International Airport.
