A shot from my trip to O'ahu this past January. I think this is nuu'anu Pali drive or somewhere close to it! Went on a awesome waterfall hike this day with Cole, Dallas, Ed, Gabriel and David from Unreal Hawaii.

Check out David's awesome post from that day. www.unrealhawaii.com/2014/01/rainforest-waterfalls-and-ru...

The day started out with Marble sulking on her bed. She was bored with all of her toys and the wind was just too windy to run against so an inside adventure was her only option. Phillip tried many times to offer up a few suggestions, but Marble must have had fluff in her ears because she just kept shaking her head. Phillip had one last idea. Marble's favorite book lay under her bed, deep under her bed in a place she was afraid to go. Phillip, always being the braver of the two, crawled under when Marble was busy staring at her favorite finger. Quickly he went under, and quickly he came out. He knew if he made the suggestion for her to read it to him, she would say no. It needed to be her idea. Phillip cozied up into their favorite chair and made the same reading sounds Marble would make when she read the book to him. This got her attention. She stated, "Phillip you know very well that bears cannot read. Now move over and let me show you how it is really suppose to go." Marble fell directly into his trap. No sooner that she started to read, she also began to smile and they were off on an afternoon adventure.

6Z81 Walton Old Jn - Wembley, taking the barriers back after a triple-7 delivery. I think that's Rail Adventure’s 43484 and 43465 up front, behind a bush at the back are 43480 and 43468.

Jasper is always ready for adventure. I'v noticed a lot of rather horizontal tree trunks in Arizona. Not sure why that is. But it makes for a nice place to pose your dog as we set out on our adventure called the evening walk

I ended up getting home late last night and didn't snap too many photos with my camera during the day, however I did manage this cute cell phone shot of Fyero while we drove home from Orleans last night and figured why not; I think it's sweet so why not share it?

She was so good in the car yesterday and spent the majority of the drive looking out the windows instead of hiding; I guess after 11 years, she's getting used to car rides!

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Camp Adventure Forest Tower

Denderupvej 9A, 4683 Rønnede

Camp Adventure welcomes you to the spectacular 45 meter high Forest Tower in Gisselfeld Kloster's forests close to high Forest Tower in Gisselfeld Kloster's forests close to EFFEKT Architects and completes an ambition to create an aesthetically beautiful construction and a unique experience of nature.

The cylinder shape was starting point for the construction, maximizing the base and the top while minimizing the center. The structure is a so-called hyperboloid form. The long vertical steel pipes aren't bent, but rotated 120 °, giving a curved expression, like an hourglass. This not only increases stability, but also enhances the experiencer, as the tree tops come close to the narrow middle piece. Moving up, the view tower broadens and the landscape opens as the distance between the ramps increases. It all culminates at the top with a 360° view of the landscape.

The main structure is made from corten steel - its reddish brown color fitting well with the colors of the forest. The oak boards on the ramp are made from local South Zealand oak trees from Bregentved and Gisselfeld Estates. All timber is PEFC-certified.

Where do you seen an adventure?

Every child knows that the adventure begins when you find toadstools in the woods.

Oh, of course. And then there's a witch, right?

Yes! An evil witch that... oh...

Yeah, that's what I thought. Shall we go on?

The first toadstools I've seen this year, very happy to see a whole group. Unfortunately on an evening walk on a grey day, so there wasn't much light.

Toy Project Day 3727

The road winds through Portugal’s breathtaking countryside — golden plains, mountain ridges, and hidden rivers waiting to be discovered. Each turn offers a new story, a new scent of pine or ocean air. Adventure isn’t a destination here; it’s the journey itself, written across the vast landscapes and quiet villages of this beautiful land.

Setting out on a chilly and brisk morning. Can you hear the groans of the boat on the water and the oar hitting the side as I set it down to take a photo? Can you hear the loons hooting like owls and the hawks screeching as the sun silently makes it's way above the trees? We look for life along the shoreline....deer, bears, otters, ducks, chipmunks. The water is like glass when only the animals are up. We glide along making silent ripples before the wind stirs and wakes the lake. It is beautiful.

“No, no! The adventures first, explanations take such a dreadful time.”

― Lewis Carroll

“I wish more people felt that photography was an adventure the same as life itself and felt that their individual feelings were worth expressing. To me, that makes photography more exciting.”
