Documentation of a series of posters opposing the Green Party. This is unique, because here a private person (communications entrepreneur) interferes with a large-scale and professional poster campaign in the Bundestag election campaign and acts against a parliamentary party. Advertising posters with different contents are a motif that I always like to photograph. I do not adopt the content of the posters as my own.

This is Lily. We adopted her a few months back from a shelter. She had been on the street for sometime. But now, she claims the purple bean bag all to herself.

Ringo, the one on the right, from our NSPCA Adopt-A-Bowl shoot about one year ago has finally found his Fo'ever home!

From the good people at Pawtastic Friends who worked tirelessly to make this happen:

"It’s hard to describe what today means to me or for that matter to many of us. Ringo has been waiting very patiently for his happily ever after. Well, guys today was the day. Everybody’s favorite boy Ringo has worked so hard for this day. Today wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of many many people that loved him. Rescue when done right is a group effort. Melissa worked tirelessly to get him to safety. She found a safe place for him to land at Friends For Life Humane Society. The changes in Ringo were almost immediate. The guys that run promised him that they wouldn’t give up on him. So today as a family we can all celebrate his happily ever after. Thank you to the volunteers that never gave up, the generous donors that made his Enrichment Training possible and to the many people who shared his journey. This is what happiness looks like. Ringo’s new dad loves him and Ringo has 50+ acres to play and even his own pond to splash in. He found the pond right off the bat. Let’s all continue to share the dogs that might take a bit longer to get adopted. There’re right home will come along. Happy Gotcha Day Ringo! We all love you. Love now and forever Fireball."

Congratulations to Doss and her new family!! Doss is a super-sweet, amazing little pup who we rescued in the fall at 1 years old. And now in this moment, she's either happily snuggled in her warm and loving home, or outdoors bouncing like a kangaroo, as she does. Love you, Doss! Please visit!

Eleroo used to be in the nursery of a church my family and I used to attend, but no one really played with him.

He ended up amongst the offerings of the church rummage sale that following summer, and I adopted him. ^^

He's a freakin' Wuzzle - who wouldn't want him?

I adopted this amazing black cat. I’m so fascinated with him. I didn’t know that black cat a the least adopted and the ones that are more likely to be put to sleep. I guess they have a false stigma. This one is so loving, so funny, so smart, vocal, play-full, and defender of the weak. I guess I’m cure of superstition!

Somebody asked for an update on the midget hammies, so here we go.

That's Molly up there, super-mom, single-handedly raised two litters. And now she's free! Except for one, all her kids have gone off to new homes.

A couple times a year I donate my time and photography to the Animal Adoption Center here in Jackson, Wyoming. The AAC rescues critters from kill shelters and lately from natural disasters. These kittens came with 8 of their buddies from Houston after Hurricane Harvey.

The AAC staff work incredibly hard to shelter and find homes for these animals. It won't take long for these kittens to find homes but will take a little longer for the older cats to get adopted.

Next time you're looking for a new friend and member of the family remember... Adopt. Don't shop.

Wesley, who we had been named Gus when we fostered him, came with his brother Jax (Roger) to stay with us for the weekend. These brothers were adopted together to an awesome home, and Betsy (Bubblegum) were all adopted approximately a month ago. Their mom Zoe was adopted two Saturdays ago.

Lots of happy conclusions in one tiny litter!

I adopted this little girls few days ago and today she came. I still need a name and this wont be her look (we need eyes, wig and sooner or later a new face)

11:38pm my son likes the name Henry for him. I don’t think Henry is really asleep yet.

He was also adopted by a dear friend in a refuge and since then, he has been a constant love giver to his new family. Everyone just falls in love with him ! He offered me his most precious look on this picture.

Tai-Le is available for adoption at Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo. He's really affectionate, outgoing, and stunningly handsome. However, he needs daily treatment which includes tooth brushing. If you are up to the task, check him out at Woods. He's a real catch!

Years ago used to use photoshop for a living... now that I don't have to it's nice to go a little crazy every once in a while... but I still prefer the solid unmanipulated photo best. :)

The St. Pierre Cathedral is a cathedral in Geneva, Switzerland, today belonging to the Reformed Protestant Church of Geneva. It is known as the adopted home church of John Calvin, one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation. Inside the church is a wooden chair used by Calvin.

It was begun under Arducius de Faucigny, the prince-bishop of the Diocese of Geneva, around 1160. It was originally built in Romanesque style and was completed a hundred years later in Gothic style. A Neo-Classical main facade was added in the 18th century.

The area beneath the Cathedral has recently been excavated extensively, revealing a history of the site dating back to the time of the Roman Empire.[citation needed] From the 8th to 10th centuries it was one of three cathedrals to coexist on the site. The present building has grown from a cathedral devoted to ecclesiastical use and an early Christian funerary cult; the other two structures, subsumed in the 12th century by the growth of the surviving building, were apparently for different uses, one for public sacraments and the other for church teachings.

The German painter Konrad Witz painted an altarpiece, the so-called St. Peter Altarpiece, for the Cathedral in 1444, now in the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, Geneva, which contains his composition, the Miraculous Draught of Fishes.

Currently, every summer a German Protestant minister is present, making it possible to hold bilingual services and meetings of both German and French Protestant worshippers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Pierre_Cathedral

Blondie, 9 years young

i feel like i need some new kind of diary-esque outlet for my photos, there are so many that i don't know what to do with them, i don't want to put them ALL on flickr, and they are basically just documents of day-to-day life bordering on the banal which people probably don't want to see that much but i really enjoy them. i have no idea what kind of 'outlet' this would be though, a blog is obviously an option but then i'm not 100% sure i even need or want it to be online. really itching for SOMETHING though, whatever it may be... i've already decided to start a scrapbook but it's not practical to stick billions of prints in there. need something computer based i think. whoo knowsss.

Included in the book "Diary".
