If you're an American car enthusiast, you should make America's Packard Museum in downtown Dayton, Ohio a destination. This museum is housed in an actual, former Packard dealership.

You won't be disappointed. Ask for Al the tour guide - he is a wealth of information on this classic, American luxury make. I believe the name of this particular hood ornament (of which a prospective buyer could choose from many when ordering this vintage of Packard) was Adonis.
Examples of the ultra-rare classics on display range from pristine, painstakingly restored beauties, to unrestored gems, to rough examples with a special story to tell, sometimes told just by the patina on the surface.
