Like is all about adjustments. I think it would be rare if we did not have to make allowances.
(I am always full of ponderous thoughts and you would get more of them if I just could write it on paper and not have to type)

This is the adjustment screw for an oscillating water sprinkler head. The screw adjusts the length of the spray and to some extent the breadth.
Adjusted the crop following feedback from Flickr members, here's a link to the original: www.flickr.com/photos/cleebster/2345224027/

In 1907, a Swedish immigrant and inventor Karl Peterson founded the Crescent Tool Company, and soon after introduced what is billed as America’s first open-end adjustable wrench.
Today part of the Apex Tool Group, the Crescent wrench can be found in many toolboxes, including mine, and has a reputation for proven reliability. According to crescenttool.com, Charles Lindbergh, after his historic transatlantic flight in 1927, was quoted as saying that he carried only “gasoline, sandwiches, a bottle of water and a Crescent wrench and pliers.”

A number of drastic adjustments were needed to give the castle a museum function. For example, a new, modern staircase in the former courtyard had to ensure clear routing in the castle. The staircase opens up the round corridors on the different floors

Ruurlo Castle is one of the most beautiful castles in the Achterhoek. The age of the castle is venerable. In the 14th century it was a fief of Count Reinoud I of Gelre. Jacob van Heeckeren, founder of the noble and distinguished knightly family Van Heeckeren, acquired it in the 15th century. In 2013 the castle was sold and converted into a museum

Saludos

A small portion of a "C" clamp that has been neglected apparently.
From all angles even diagonally, this is well below the size limits.

Hi There!
I wouldn't have believed it until I saw this happen, but the parent physically corrected this very cheeky gosling not once, but twice, the second time causing the gosling to fall over. I am not certain what the gosling did wrong, but it was certainly something very naughty. I've always been fascinated by bird and animal behaviour, so it was fascinating to watch all of this transpire.
After the two "adjustments," the gosling looked as cheeky as ever, but kept its distance from the family. I guess this was the "Wild Child!"
I want to thank you for your views and your comments. I do love hearing from you! Have a great weekend!

The colours in this are a little blown out, I blame the direct sunlight and needing to do adjustments in post. Still, even with the blown out colours, I like it.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

This contemporary photograph is taken at the beach of Benidorm (Spain).
The photograph has been made by using the technique of ICM - Intentional Camera Movement. There is no digital manipulation. Only some basic adjustments are made in post-process treatment (brightness, contrast and saturation).
This photo was taken for "Vowel" theme on the Macro Mondays group.
Something that starts with a vowel (the letter a, e, i, o, u).
I used the letter "a" for adjust. The photo contains a small in flight analog adjustment knob on a FrSky Radio for controlling RC model aircraft.

Know your worth. Never let anyone dull your shine. Adjust that crown queen and move the fuck on!
A setting looking to the north while taking in views across this setting in west Texas. My thinking in composing this image was to use some high ground I was on at a roadside pullout and capture a sweeping view across this desert and national park landscape leading up to the Guadalupe Mountains. I did some initial post-processing work making adjustments to contrast, brightness and saturation in NX Studio. I then exported a TIFF image to Nik Color Efex Pro 4 where I made some more adjustments for that last effect on the image captured.
After topping up the paraffin level and then trimming the wick to make sure the flame is just right the lamp is ready for use on the loco.
An indigenous mother (or maybe grandmother) makes a slight adjustment to her child's costume in the children's parade for the Dias de Loco (Crazy Days).
In Ecuador, instead of carnival they have the crazy days, Dias de Loco, where it's okay to dress up and act a little crazy which usually means spraying soap foam at each other or anybody who gets caught. In this indigenous village between Cuenca and Riobamba, we ran into this parade with kids in costumes, making noise and spraying foam on everybody.
