Like Rumpelstiltskin, I am creating objects of art by weaving together the ubiquitous, the
quotidian, and the ephemeral, instead of his straw. My work is sculptural basketry. Tatlin meets the Appalachian Craft tradition and beautiful organic forms take shape.

Spacious, cozy and warm sunroom with smooth cedar ceilings,skylights, custom windows and doors in home in The Medallion Golf Course Area of Delaware County.
The secret basement mid demolition:
We uncovered a little basement when we demolished the rear addition.
It was a small-ish room more than 10 feet long, but less than 10 feet wide with a low ceiling.
This basement appears to have been built in several stages over 50 years ago, possibly durring prohibition. It had unreinforced concrete on 3 sides and the side closest to the house was bare earth. There was drywall lining the ceiling and upper walls as well as the wall closest to the house.
The life of a contractor's wife is not an easy one. Darn if I'd crawl around under this house - too many critters.

In addition to the March for Victims, Take Back the Night Week sponsored guest speakers, free self-defense classes, a “Walk in Her Shoes” March for high-heeled-adorning men, and educational programs. One such program was the Clothesline Project, which allowed students to make tee shirts with messages of hope and personal connections to domestic violence.
