All the chunks of concrete that were cut out of the floor came up embellished with gravel ... people pay good money at home supply stores for this stuff!
Keeping in the theme of this week's ADAW, here's a quick pic of my first two BJDs, Icara & Tepi!
(These two can't pose for beans but I love them anyway |D;; )

Icara is an Astral in Rainbow / ChicoBricks SAY Vampire on a Volks SD10 body.
Tepi is a Pipos Bao.
Brand new addition to the tool kit, the awesome look forward that's a look backwards. The Minolta Dynax 600si Classic brought physical controls back to the A-Mount. While not apricated upon release, it did inspire a whole line of hybrid control cameras that even continues with modern digital cameras today.
One roll in, and I'm enjoying this camera and it will certainly be integrated into regular service.

In addition to the basic game playing pieces (roads, settlements, and cities), there are also knights and city walls for the Cities & Knights Expansion. The flags are used to show active knights, and the helmets are used to show the strength of the knights. (i.e. no helmet for normal, dark gray for strong, and silver for mighty)
I haven't been keeping up with these as much because there are so many now. But she's unique in her bubblegum pink! And what a name!

One of Prince George's oldest neighbourhoods is the Millar Addition, named after the original developer George Millar who bought some 200 acres for almost $60,000 dollars in 1913. He began developing the land the next year and some houses from the 1920s are still being lived in to this day. Its beautiful tree-lined streets are a hallmark. July 01, 2011.

My step-mum (of sorts!), Mette. Another member of my ginger family. I'm a bit of a contrast to these lot, dark hair, dark eyes, no freckles. A neat little father, mother, child of gingers. And then there's me. The black haired sheep. I find gingers fascinating- my childhood memories are filled with images of my dad covered in factor 50, of zinc on his nose, the tops of his toes burning, his skin reflecting the sun. My mother and i would look on smugly. Now he's got company...

A quite spring night at the new addition of the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Ga.

This railroad station is part of a National Park and has a REALLY nice museum on it's bottom floor. Built 1913.
I took over 150 pictures in Cumberland a few days ago, so check my Cumberland set for updates!

ercol's 206 windsor armchair - the latest addition to the ercol Originals - a small collection of some of our favourite pieces from our back catalogue lovingly reissued. To the right is the studio couch in special "blotch" fabric by Glasgow design studio Timorous Beasties.
Wow, the birds, are getting big around here! Here is our new baby, we do not know the sex yet, but as you can probably tell, this is a macaw. Meet "Magik" our new baby Bolivian Blue and Gold Macaw. Magic is 5 weeks old. He is already bigger than Zoe our new ekkie baby that is almost 8 weeks.
I haven't been working on it much lately due to spraining my ankle (damn that hurt!) and not feeling so well. I couldn't even step on that foot for a week.
But I have ordered the double dutch lap siding and should have it by next week and then I hope to make good progress finish the outside. The vinyl will cover ALL of the rest of the house (not just the unpainted wood seen in the photo).
The rest of the house except for the back where this addition was is already covered with double dutch lap siding. It took me a while to find the exact siding I needed but I finally did. I have already went around windows with J channel and other channels and installed the inside corner pieces and the exhaust vent. They are temporarily out of outside corners (see note) so that will hold me up further unless they get some in soon. The weather is cooperating so it would be great to be able to finish the outside in the next week or so.

...at work. Because my boss needed more dogs...LOL! Meet 8wk old italian cane corso pup, Armani/Marni. She's the cutest. Our new office dog...until she gets too big! She's SO heavy already.

Thought I'd join the club for pictures of the 'Bourgwalk,Aylesbury'.

The garden has a flavor of the American Southwest because of all the spiky, drought resistant plants Aidan and Patrick have planted. They thrive down here in the warmest part of England. In fact I have often described Cornwall as the California part of England.
At the Harbour of Morro Jable, in a corner along a dead-end road, was this old boat, mostly stripped, on oil drums and shored with scanty support.
It looked like it had been like this for quite some time; it became the center of attention for Paul and me.
A wooden boat, once somebody’s dream, pride and joy was now abandoned, made in the old tradition, it must have been painted different colours over time but the last was definitely Bleu Ciel! Most of its timbers now bare and bleached.
This is on the back, the stern with maybe a humorous view 'terrace-deck'?
Exploring around it, I could not find a name anymore, yet somehow, to me, the name Ahab seemed fitting.
"When that wicked king was slain, the dogs, did they not lick his blood!"; (Moby-Dick, Chap. 16)!
I stared at it for quite some time, mesmerized, dreaming of adventures at sea, all the spray it must have enjoyed, maybe the storms it had conquered...
I wish you all the best and thanx, M, (*_*)

The TerraTrike Path 8 recumbent trike was upgraded by previous owner from 8 speeds to 16 speeds with the addition of a FSA Metropolis two-speed crank up front. My plan is to add a set of fenders on all wheels, lights and a pannier rack in the rear.
T loves this addition game. we each start with a lego platform and character, then take turns drawing two tiles from the cauldron. (we started with three each of tiles 1-3; since then i've added three each of 4 and 5.) he lays the tiles on the rug and then places the corresponding numbers of legos under each. then he double-checks his work in each column, then he counts them all. finally, he states the equation, e.g., "three plus two is five." then he stacks up the legos and its my turn.
