I didn't know tiny shirts could bring one such joy. These little wonders are seriously the best thing ever.
The original idea is that I eventually have one for each of my dolls. I have 16 shirts and 22 dolls now.
Question is: do I sell 6 dolls or do I buy 6 shirts?
Before last year ended, I decided to post less regularly here unless I know I’ve got something extraordinary—quality over quantity. I’m critical and picky in life, and so is my photography.
I was deliberating about posting this one. The reason for that is two branches sticking out from the left corner. They are a bit sufficient for me. But overall, I love the mood and the composition.
There is something distinguishly beautiful in minimalism both in photography and in life. Usually, I’ve shot this tree from a different angle. Somehow that was the most optimal angle for my eyes. I don’t really know what allured me towards shooting this perspective of the tree. Looking at it now, I obviously like the minimalist tone of the photo but other than that red foreground from the bare bushes and fog around are the winning combo for me. I’ve noticed to be attracted with this pale vibrate contrast recently.
This whole morning was such a dopamine boost for me. I previously wrote, in one of my other posts here, that I had been waiting for this sort of condition in my local area for more than nine months. And seeing the fog that morning I wanted to use the most of it. Photography is becoming a big plus for my mental health and well-being. I am currently on a hunt for a new job and I’m so anxious if I find something that will disable me from going for my early morning walks in the nature that are now a habit. I could say even an addiction. But that is another story.
Sometimes I feel the need to go somewhere just for the purpose of photographing. In recent times my favourite time for photography is morning. After I come back home from the location I was shooting I always feel so much better. So I hope I will be in a position to fulfill my addiction as long as I feel the need to
Day 8 of 366 (year 2)
Your body is your temple. Cut out addictive substances for the day and see how much purer you feel. Special tip for any book owners addicted to crack cocaine. You may not feel purer immediately. Stick to this one for at least a couple of months to see the full lifestyle benefits.
Ok, well, first of all, here I am puckering it up for Bebedas because, well, she is swell. Ok, I look a little wacky in the photo and it is anything far from exciting, but I really didn't have time yesterday to do anything more than this, so deal with it.
Now, about being free of addictions...
I didn't have any sugar yesterday, I didn't have any caffeine yesterday, I didn't sexually harass myself yesterday... and to tell you the truth, I feel worse, but that could be because of the headache and eye-twitch I have been nursing for the last week.
Sorry for posting a day late.
Oh and if any of you need a smooch right about now, this is for you.
xo
If your coffee tastes like mud....it was ground this morning.
I tried this triptych technique thanks to "The Photo Argus Inspiration" article, as well as it being one of the subjects for their 2017 Photography 52 week challenge.
Golden hour addiction - Golden Hour at Ribblehead with the setting winter sun bathing the viaduct in golden, warm light.
I am drawn to this wonderful location at golden hour and forever amazed how the stonework ignites and bursts into life with a radiant glow for a brief few minutes when the conditions are just right. It seems the grey of the ordinarily dull stonework is a great canvas for golden hour; you have to be there to experience it and that it's no fluke or trick.
This is a retake of my favourite image from my 365 project a couple of years ago. I've always wanted to recapture a similar image under the same conditions, so when the opportunity seemed forecast recently, I just couldn’t resist.
