Hahaha yes, I finished it!
Little drawing that took me about 2 hours to finish up, (didn't help that I was roleplaying at the same time XD)
I called this addiction because by god I'm addicted to Simon and Haylen. The hotness is too much to handle, XD
Not that I'm complaining *scoff*
So yeah, the little duo caught on the spot. Can you guess whose Haylen (Bailey's) and who's Simon (Mine)?
I think it's purdy easy XD
Better quality in real time, my stupid scanner crashed if I try to scan with more than 300dpi *grumbles*. There is smudged and cross hatched light pencil shading in the background.
Saying that too many people are not finding their way into treatment soon enough, Public Health Director Dr. Karyl Rattay told the almost 200 attending the Aug. 29 Addiction Medicine Symposium at the Ammon Center that DHSS will create a person-centered public treatment system with centers of excellence that not only customize treatment to each person’s needs, but also provides for their mental health and social service needs. “Our vision is really bring it all together,” she said.
Joining Dr. Rattay in providing opening remarks at the daylong event were Christiana Care CEO Dr. Janice Nevin; Dr. Terry Norton, the symposium organizer and chief of addiction medicine at Christiana Care; and Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long. Dr. Nevin said every person admitted to a Christiana Care facility is screened for addiction, and Lt. Gov. Hall-Long said Delaware is being looked at as the model for change. The fifth annual symposium was sponsored by Christiana Care and Central East ATTC, a program of The Danya Institute.
Dr. Rebecca Walker, chief operating officer of the Division of Forensic Science, and Lt. James T. Hulings of the Delaware State Police and deputy director of the Delaware Information and Analysis Center (DIAC), provided an analysis of the opiate crisis in Delaware and statewide data-sharing. Walker detailed the polysubstance use of the 308 people who died from overdoses in Delaware in 2016, and Hulings said crack cocaine is coming back, with a 89% increase in cases involving the drug over the last five years in Delaware. “We’re probably not going to see the death we see with heroin, but we are going to see the addiction,” he said. Law enforcement officials also are worried that labs that can produce fentanyl, the synthetic drug that is up to 50 times more potent than heroin, will start appearing in the U.S. Up until now, most of the fentanyl in the United States has been produced in labs in China or elsewhere.
Other speakers detailed the effects of trauma on people who suffer from addiction, the landscape of the opioid crisis in the U.S. and took part in a panel discussion of the opportunities and challenges in Delaware.

Oxycontin is a prescription painkiller whose abuse is becoming overly common. Oxycontin addiction and abuse can be attributed to the fact that the drug is readily available and inexpensive as compared to other high euphoria recreational drugs like heroin and cocaine.

I didn't thjink I was really addicted to anything, and I said as much to my husband. He left the room and returned with a basket full of my shoes. He told me he could go back into my closet and get more if I needed them...maybe this is a problem afterall!
