Field training fatigues and Training tower.

Chuckles takes the RAM out for a drive to do some scout work, before the other Joes start their mission.....

I don't know why he didn't just take the bridge (see left..)... :-)

'Mon dieu, this hell hole just might be the end of me', he says. Pushing his dry lips against the empty waterbottle.

Pics made this weekend during the Actionfigurado in Duiven. An 12 inch action figure fare.

I've got some old GI Joe figures that are in rather rough condition. I call them my Franken-Joes. This was an experiment to see if I could turn them into something worth photographing. I think, by turning the photos to B&W that I will be able take some decent Vintage looking photos.

These are figures and uniforms from Hasbro's Timeless Collection. In this case, the uniforms are from Timeless Green Beret Machine gun Outpost set. Helmet is a Cotswold reproduction of the Hasbro Marine helmet.

This B&W image was created by extracting the BLUE channel from the original photo.

Visiting my niece collection, some of my figures are posted to her collection.

The old man is father of the Forest Ranger, not present in photo, and is a reputed ecologist. Then you see a Wrestler of the mexican league: La Amenaza Rosada!!!, my niece liked him that way and a duck feet Action Man.

It's for reasons like this why I love collecting...it's the thrill of the hunt. several weeks ago I was working at the Goodwill recycling centre when I found him buried among some toys in a gaylord. Unfortunately I had to wait till he was brought to the store before I could buy him, so I waited, and waited, and waited..and today he arrived :-) He's got a cool parachute, and his hair is old school, reminds me of the GI Joe from the early 70's but without the beard. He's in mint condition, which begs the question, why was he at the recycling centre? who would just get rid of him like that?.. .Sacrilege I tell you, sacrilege.

Actionman and child abuse. This is part of a photo exhibition I will have on the 20th of August. More info on website.

Aren't we getting to old for this nonsense?

From living room bookshelf.

Oh and of course... Jabba the Hut.

My attempt to recreate the iconic image of Michael Caine from the film 'Get Carter'.

The figure is the DID 24th Foot Private Williams, the suit is from a 'Reservoir Dogs' figure, the shirt and watch are DML. The shotgun is an old 21st Century item - not quite screen accurate but the closest thing I had!

This is the Grizzly from Action Man Mission Grizzly set. It's remote controlled, can move around and shoots missiles. The set didn't work when I bought it, but now is fixed and fully functional.

My first 'modern' 12-inch GI.JOE after some HOF ones. I absolutely love this guy!! He's so cool! And costed me only 15 gilders.

Added a moustache to an old (modern) Actionman of my sons. Think he would make a decent Town Marshal.

Loads of little robots and all the bits (I think) to make 4 large ones - and unused sticker sheets - If you fancy owning drop me a mail I might have my arm twisted

Good stuff, no one has spotted us yet

This is Action Man Mission Grizzly set.

The set doesn't work, i'll try to fix it

Awesome :) You can say a lot about the Battle Corps figures, but the molds are excellent. hasbro just made the wrong choice to go for pretty out there colours cause they appealed more to the kids in the testgroup at the time.

Ripper just got a taste of Flint's shotgun butt.
