For ten days in October 2021, the brutalist concrete structure known as the International Congress Centre Berlin was open to the public as a unique experience of film, performance and art. We visited the ICC Berlin on the first few days of The Sun Machine is Coming Down, a celebration of the 70th anniversary of Berliner Festspiele.
Since we are big fans of brutalist architecture, visiting the International Congress Centre Berlin was always in our sight. This gorgeous landmark of German architecture is massive beyond comparison, making it one of the largest congress venues in the world.

A quick side by side comparison (yes, this was before my leg broke!) UPLOADED IN 1080p! I thought the GoPro would be far better then the drift but i’d say its only about 8% better. The Drift still has some exposure issues and the compression rate is not quite as good as the GoPro. HOWEVER, the Drift is such a nice and easy bit of kit to work with, overall i would choose this as a ‘vlogging’ camera over the GoPro. A few simple reasons for this are the rotating lens is such a good solution to side mounting, the thread on the base is a standard photographic screw thread so the range of accessories is vast. And it has a screen built in with an easier to navigate menu, whereas the GoPro is optional and also increases the size of the camera which means you can use the ‘skeleton’ case (with mic hole).
