看來來去還是阿托碼的樂高最有趣

um. yeah. I'm making pudding.

I was afraid to step on the scale for AW this week, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm actually now at –9 pounds total (again), but I need to get back on track and refocused. I'm working out regularly--weights and cardio--and now I need to return to a lower-calorie diet. Maybe after the pudding is gone.

The 6th Annual Devolution Conference held under the theme “Deliver. Transform. Measure.: Remaining Accountable” organized by the Council of Governors in collaboration with other stakeholders’ including National Government Ministries, Agencies and Departments, Development Partners, Non-Governmental organizations and the Private Sector.

Prior to the 5th ADC, Devolution Conferences were held to discuss general/global successes, challenges and solutions in the implementation of the devolved structure in the Country. The Steering committee of the 5th ADC decided to change the conference modality and use a sector-based approach while at the same time retain the general/global perspective structure. These resulted to adoption of a four (4) sector breakaway sessions mirroring the Presidents Big Four (4) agenda together with a general cross cutting discussion in the conference.

January 30, 2024 — Albany, NY — Governor Hochul Signs Legislation to Protect Survivors, Hold Perpetrators Accountable for Rape. (Mike Groll/Office of Governor Kathy Hochul)

Last night, Feb. 8, Benton County hosted a Justice System Improvement Program (JSIP) Open House at the Kalapuya Building in Corvallis to share the County's vision to balance treatment and accountability to transform lives, ensure safety, and strengthen the community.

More than 200 community members attended with staff and elected officials to learn about concept plans for the downtown Corvallis Mental Health Crisis Center, the Community Safety & Justice Campus, and the new Courthouse and District Attorney’s office and to provide information about safety, mental health, and homelessness services facilities to be included in a May 2023 bond measure.

The open house included displays and information for community members to learn more about the Justice System Improvement Program master plan, the new Benton County Crisis Center, the new Benton County Courthouse and District Attorney’s office, financial stewardship for the project, a potential new correctional facility with sheriff’s office and emergency operations center, and expanded homeless and mental health services.

The JSIP is a comprehensive effort to create a more equitable, effective, and safe justice system throughout Benton County. Learn more at: bentoncountyjustice.org.

Frontline Community Led Kayak-tivists with Message for Chevron

"CHEVRON: 120 YEARS OF HARM. IT STOPS NOW."

On Saturday, August 6, hundreds of Richmond, California residents and people from all over the Bay Area came together to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the 2012 Chevron Refinery Fire that sent over 15,000 people to the hospital.

Community led Kayak-tivists paddled to Keller Beach in Point Richmond with flags spelling out "CHEVRON: 120 YEARS OF HARM. IT STOPS NOW." The flags were handed off to community members waiting on the beach who then joined the larger march headed to the gates of Chevron Refinery, where street murals and a public art installation (The Fenceline Project) were in progress.

The message to Chevron - "we REFUSE another 120 years of violence on our bodies, our communities, our air."

“120 years of broken promises, no accountability, profit at the expense of our health and climate. Our health is not for sale!”

This is a FREE zoo on the west side of the Island. My family and friends are pictured above. We had a great time!
