On 12 May 2023, Ambassador Lindsay Skoll met UNIDO Director General Gerd Müller. The UK will provide £65.5m in funding for UNIDO's Accelerate to Demonstrate facility – part of the UK’s £1b Ayrton Fund commitment to accelerate the clean energy transition in developing countries.
The A2D Facility will provide grant finding to small and medium sized enterprises, research institutions and other business organisations.

The first recipient of the MWBE Incubate to Accelerate program, Flight Cafe, located in the Pitt-Greenville Airport, signs loan documents at City Hall on Tuesday, December 22.
The MWBE Incubate to Accelerate program includes rental support for pop-up retail and shared kitchen space, revolving loan funding for start-up and expansion, and back office support, such as CPA and tax services, business consultation, and documentation. NLP Accelerated learning is about having the right motivation, the right state and beliefs and the correct tools to learn things really quickly and easily.
When you add your own personal learning style and a few NLP techniques then learning stuff really does get easy. It really is all about learning excellence.
Here’s why I believe that learning how to learn is even more important now than ever.
There is no such thing as a job for life anymore. It is thought that the average school leaver will have between 3 and 5 careers over the course of their working life. It makes sense to be able to retrain as quickly and as easily as possible.
There will be jobs & businesses in the future, that do not currently exist. Those who adapt quickest will be the winners.
If we are now in the Information age that suggests having a lot of new data to keep up with. The ‘innovation curve is about to go vertical.
If you were to create a graph of all the information that has ever existed and started the graph at the year
1 AD it would take until 1500 for the amount of knowledge available to double. It doubled again by 1750 and then 1900. The next doubling of knowledge took a mere 50 years then 10 years and 7 years and finally six years.
This was up until 1973 when there was 128 times more knowledge than in 1 AD according to George Anderia who measured this growth.

The assignment was to show the anatomy of alveoli and nearby structures. The student chose to make a model that used plastic tubing, styrofoam balls, and pipe cleaners.
The assignment was to visually show the human digestive system. The student did this by welding metal machinery parts together.

UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, jointly with UNICEF, lead the largest global programme to accelerate the abandonment of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). In line with Zero Tolerance Day for FGM on 6 February 2017, UNFPA lead a mission to Kenya's Narok County to document UNFPA’s active participation to encourage the abandonment of the practice. Female Genital Mutilation, FGM, involves altering or injuring the female genitalia for non-medical reasons. It negatively impacts a girl’s psychological, emotional and physical well-being, education, health and gender equality rights, and is internationally recognized as a human rights violation. Maasai culture, often praised and used as a tourist attraction, encourages FGM which is views as the key to success in all aspects of life. Many Maasai families cannot afford to give their children formal schooling, so to protect their daughters from lives of poverty, they choose to marry them off at a young age. Because Maasai girls are traditionally considered children until they are circumcised, it is seen as imperative for a Maasai girl to undergo the circumcision rite before she is married making FGM a precursor to child marriage. This strongly ingrained cultural belief propels families to go to great lengths to complete the circumcision. Both FGM and child marriage negatively impact long-term poverty reduction and development outcomes. In collaboration with World Vision Kenya as an implementing partner UNFPA identify Narok County in Maasailand as one of eight targeted counties in Kenya where UNFPA-supported interventions are transforming and saving lives of women and girls in the county.
