Abstract scrapbooking background. Created using photoshop and various filters from a plain green and yellow banded background.
I fell into designing these abstract backgrounds completely by accident and it was suggested I continue doing these as there is a now a demand from scrapbooking hobbyists, and cardmakers whether they be amateur, semi-professional or full blown business. I am now in the process of uploading these to Flickr, but please be aware. THESE IMAGES ARE NOT PUBLIC DOMAIN, they belong to me and can only be used by you or anyone else after mutual agreement.

This is TOTALLY photo art. My definition of photo art is to take a photo and so completely change it, that it is entirely, totally different from what it started out to be. That's the case here as this was originally an out-of-focus photo of the Burnham & Flower Insurance Agency Building (formerly the Standard Federal Bank Building when it was built in the 1970's and featured in National Geographic Magazine for its unique structure). I used the liquify filter in Adobe Photoshop to create this. That filter makes your "brush" so fluid, it's like drawing with it.
I printed a 13x19 of it and had it professionally matted and framed! It was also one of the 76 matted and framed photographs that I included in the June 3-30, 2011 gallery show in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Playing with fiber optics and long exposure. This one looks like it is staring back somehow, like a new world chameleon.
I don't do abstract photos very often, but I kinda like this close-up. I like the contrast between green and black as much as the different curved shapes. Perhaps u like it, too? ;)
I thought this hotel building would make a good abstract shot. I thought it looked a bit like a waffle. But it's not. It's a hotel.

Abstract Photography is one of the interesting fields of photography that could trigger your curiosity. It really depends on how creative the photographer could be to capture one thing from different perspectives that would trigger your curious to the max! That's my first try; hopefully, I'll be able to capture interesting things soon :)
