I can hardly believe the speed with which life keeps unfolding. It's already one month since I returned from Tokyo. Anyway, it is a joy to remember it all and I look forward to return (hopefully soon).

The Spacebox is a polyester unit, produced to solve the housing problem for students and in these days also for refugees. The design was created by Mart de Jong. Its colour scheme and combination (normally just three stories high), inspired me to create this abstract composition. On the other hand the window details reveal the presence of inhabitants.
It is a preview of my upcoming solo exhibition in Almere.
Last year I received a commission from the Stadsarchief (city archive) of Almere. The challenge was to visualise the architecture of this town in my particular way.
The result is a photo series of 24 works, that will be exhibited in the large entrance area of the city archive. The exhibition will run from 6 June until 3 Oktober 2019.
