Hat tip to Buzz Lightyear for the title :)

Another detail shot of Manchester's Hexagon Tower, , this time with a glimpse of a staircase.

Building completed in 1973 for ICI.

For 50 years this Brutalist building’s facade was of concrete. The facade was over-clad with insulated aluminium rainscreen in 2023/2024, retaining the hexagonal shape of the original structure’s windows.

The 14-storey tower was named after the hexagon shaped windows based on the chemical compound Benzene, which is widely used in the creation of synthetic dyes.

Original architect was Richard Seifert.

Photo taken in April 2025.

This composition was photographed in the new outskirts of Amsterdam. I particularly loved the geometrical variation and the inventive use of the brick surface of the original building. I framed it especially to highlight its minimalist changes and the shifts in reflected blue hues.

Hi again! I have returned from a social media summer break. With recharged energy and full of nice plans I look forward to chat, interact and admire your work again.

This is a wall I encountered in London, earlier this year. It was actually covering reconstruction work somewhere in the centre. As usual I took some extra time to spot people passing in front. This near symmetrical image was the result of my series of shots.

Auditorio Harpa, en Reikiavik (2011), del estudio de arquitectura Henning Larsen. Fachada de Olafur Eliasson, y diseño acústico de Artec Consultants. Premio de arquitectura contemporánea Mies van der Rohe 2013.

This is a detail of ‘The George’, a luxury apartment building in the South of Amsterdam. It was designed by Liesbeth van der Pol (DOK Architects), who describes the building to have the lightness of a summer dress blowing in the breeze, but at the same time it gives a nod to the Amsterdam School architectural style.

The mosaic pattern of glazed bricks certainly reminds me of a summer breeze, which I also associate with ‘Summertime’, that beautiful song by George Gershwin, after whom the building is named.

It also marked my first day of going out photographing again in a long time. I can’t wait to discover more beauty like this in the rest of the summer.

Looking up at the London Eye - July 2014

The horizontal lines on the wall and the design of the blue bicycle suggest speed and motion, also happily accentuated by the bright colors of the eye-catching façade of an entrance area in Amsterdam. The vehicle however is standing still and a closer look will even show it is broken.

This work will be exhibited and be exclusively available via my gallery in Tel Aviv. More information will follow.
