A little abstract texture for today's photo. Red plate on stainless steel.
A rocket creating multiple bands of compressed atmospheric moisture as it gains speed and transitions through the sound barrier. Well . . . it's either that or a photo of sunshine striking the blinds in my room. :)
On a recent trip to St Louis I took this abstract photo of the Gateway Arch. I think it looks a bit like the bow of a ship...

This series has as a basic theme a zinc-plated pole of a traffic sign, with its fractured crystals.
As some of the images had a poor DoF, I tried to ameliorate that by using Fractalius and recombine it with the originals.
The DoF idea did not work, but I got intrigued by the trip anyway

This photo was taken as part of an abstract photography project in my grade 11 photography class. I like the detail that is shown in the bubble. This is the final product that I handed in for the project, the photo before 'Bubble' was kind of like a test shot to get this final result.

Yesterday, when we went to pay our water bill, I noticed some PVC pipes piled up behind the building, and thought they made interesting abstract designs.
